While I'm thinking about how to start this post, the opening verse of a track goes through my head: "Grey morning, the city is waking up. Morning sellers, thay go to work...".
And I ask myself... "What can I, who on this cloudy December 11th, given that I live in the northern hemisphere, can show as photos this Wednesday..."?
Nothing!
Only darkness and a cloudy sky.
And it will be even darker in ten days.
That December 21 will be the day with the least daylight and the most darkness. I can't wait for it to come and go.
I leave for work in the morning. I leave the apartment, and a gloomy morning awaits me on the streets, just like in the lyrics of the song from the beginning.
It's so dark the street lights are still on...
There is also fog, which hides very tall buildings in my neighborhood.
I arrive at work a little before 8:00 a.m., it has dawned, but it is still foggy.
As the day progresses, a little more light breaks through the clouds, but not a single ray of sunlight. All day, the sky is gray...
I pack my laptop and head home exactly at 4:00 p.m.
Outside, the lights were on and it was already dark.
Dark again.
By the time I get home it will be like the middle of the night.
Apart from these morning and evening pictures and a bit of cloudy sky, I have nothing to spice up this #wednesdaywalk post of mine.
I can't compete with you who live in the south, so your day has more light or with you who didn't spend 8 hours in the office under artificial light today.
I took a walk because I love it, and took some photos of dark details, I was lucky enough to get a shot.
Because I remembered how good ghost photos can be made with proper camera settings in low light conditions.
