As I checked my wallet today, I think the people of the community, including me, find it joyous to see Hive's good value. I first witnessed this value when I returned to Hive in March 2024. It’s great news to know that this year ends and will be full of positivity. I hope so.
But today, I want to share another benefit of walking with me. Walking is now the new get-together activity of my husband and me. The first week of starting to do the 10-minute walk, I tried it alone after work, and the venue would always be my workstation. While waiting for my husband to fetch me, I used my time efficiently by starting my 10-minute walk. That’s what happened during my first week of walking.
There was a change that happened when I felt shy doing my 10-minute walk in my workstation because our boss was still around checking the area and I didn’t want to answer some questions about why I was doing the walk, so the following week, I decided that after my husband fetched me, we will have a short stopover in our neighborhood to do my 10-minute walk.
At first, my husband just waited for me while doing my task and sometimes I convinced him to capture some scenery to share here in the community. He was just supporting me morally. Until the plan has changed again.
I will start walking after we put the things that we used for our work in the house and the starting point was in our house to the neighborhood. The funny thing was my husband was convinced to join the walk. He was more motivated when he discovered that his Samsung phone has an app named “Samsung Health” that helps monitor the health of the owner including the exercise. So, now, we are always together doing the 10-minute walk, and we use our phones since we have the same brand to monitor our time and calories burned during our walk. Now that my husband joined my activity, it is not just a 10-minute walk but usually, it is more than that. It is a good thing for me too.
I realized that this activity is a great help in our relationship. We have more time to talk to each other, update things, and share the good and bad news from our work, and walking together with him is more fun than walking alone. For my husband, it is a great help for him since after the walk, he does not find it hard to sleep. He needs to sleep early because he is responsible for waking me up and preparing our breakfast.
The picture was taken during our walk together.
Thank you for reaching this far. If you want to inspire, learn, and witness beautiful scenery, experiences, and places, do not forget to follow, upvote, and reblog my post to support and motivate me to write more. Thank you.
