Lorong = Lane or Alley or Isle
Seni = Art
Lorong Seni is in our national language called Malay language, in English will be Art Lane. Or Isle of Arts. So, this would be a visual walk at an isle full of mural street arts. This is at a city called Seremban, a capital of Negeri Sembilan state, Malaysia. Me, sending love from Lorong Seni. Lol...
My husband and I and the children took a day off to send our friend back to her place at Seremban. It was about 1 hour 20 minutes drive from Kuala Lumpur to Seremban. She was the main person helping us when Jansen was still very sick, we appreciate her and treasure her a lot. Here, I am her driver, yippee!! Husband and children and mother-in-law in another car. Let's wefie!
She told us this side of streets used to be unpopular until the Minister decided to have this mural street art project to attract tourists to Seremban. Here, you could find all types of cuisine too, particularly the three main one, Malay food, Chinese food and Indian food. Hope this streets will be more populated by tourists considering the nation is opening up borders for travellers.
Let's Visual Walk
Just to mention, I only cover half of the street as halfway walking, my friend was having headache. It could be due to direct sun exposure and mixture of her health condition. She wasn't feeling very well.
First section
Apologies for not able to take good photos as it was jam packed with cars and while walking around, there were consistently cars passing the lane. Not so safe actually, I was trying my best.
Second section
Third Section
I noticed my friend wasn't looking so good, so I just snap snap snap from far. Haha.
As we rested at a shelter, husband walked further away from Lorong Seni to where the roundabouts road was to capture one section in the middle of the road.
If you haven't been to Seremban, it is worth to pay a visit. Although this is not as popular as other tourist state like Penang and Melaka, it is also famous for its fresh seafood, Seremban Siew Pao too!
I hope you enjoyed this visual walk.
