Last Sunday, I traveled to Admiralty to visit a magical forest, nestled amidst Pacific Place, the Fairy Light Forest. As if time stood still, I was converted into a magical wonderland which I often see in fantasy movies and read in fairytale stories.
Come and join me with my enchanting #WednesdayWalk into this magical wonderland. I bet @tattoodjay would love to come.
I ventured deeply into the Fairy Light Forest and stumbled upon whimsical creatures that seemed to be guarding their enchanting realm. Silently, I tip-toed upon seeing the giant bear comfortably napping on top of the red giant mushroom. I was considerate and let him enjoy his slumber.
On the other hand, tiny fairies weren't scary at all. They were adorable and seemed to be busy doing their respective businesses. Some were chatting, some were preparing gifts for the upcoming Christmas. They reminded me of Santa's elves. Thinking about them, Santa Village must be busy by now. Kids, for sure, will be happy to know this.
In the middle of the forest stood an enchanting enormous tree. Wrinkles on its huge trunk and sturdy branches seem to prove that it has been living for many years. Perhaps, for centuries. I admired how it was able to live for longer years, yet was able to maintain its strong physique and lush leaves. The fairies living in it truly take care of it very well as it serves as their sanctuary and home.
The tree is surrounded by peculiar creatures: moving giant flowers; giant mushrooms with caps painted in red and white dots; pink to purple soft shrubs with long pistils glowing and dancing in motion; and tame animal friends of the fairies.
The tree canopies spread widely which serves as a sanctuary for some feathered friends. Their cute colorful houses are affixed to the tree trunk. Lory birds were among those I spotted resting in the tree. I hoped to see a singing mystical phoenix, though.
Hung beneath glowing canopies are beautiful lanterns with magical lighting that synchronize with enchanting Christmas music. Lanterns would change light color from blue to pink, and purple, making the place even more magical.
Before I stepped out of the forest, I bade goodbye to the whimsical creatures and cute fairies. Though enchanting, the presence of Christmas is felt in the place making me more excited to welcome the month of December.

Happy humpday everyone!
