I’ve been loving this summer weather. My foot still isn’t fully recovered from a break in the fall, but I’m getting around!
Winter finally gave way to nice weather just about a month ago, and I’m still amazed at how everything has turned so lush and green in such a short time!
Zoey loves the park. There’s a big meadow where the dogs play, and I can toss a frisbee or a ball for her to chase. Sometimes there are other dog owners there to chat with.
She loves to go romping in the creek! She is now 12 years old, though, so she definitely is slowing down, not moving as fast or as vigorously.
I love this park because it’s huge and absorbs a lot of people, and you can always find a quiet place to walk.
I also love it that there are some dog trails, some big wide trails and some dingle track trails. Dogs are allowed everywhere off leash except for the wide trails which are for cyclists and those who may not have dogs.
It’s really a gem of a park, and only five minutes from home.
Well thank you for visiting and checking out my Wednesday Walk post. Wednesday Walk is hosted by @tattoodjay, and it’s a great community and a fun way to take walks all over the world.
