My younger brother and his fiancee dreamt of a garden wedding. They work hard for it and that day comes.
All of us prayed for good weather for a long time until the wedding day. Days before we felt so worried as the weather is not favorable. There were days of rain and we even checked on a two weeks, one week, days of weather forecast and all of them gave us a rainy day. We are so worried but keep on praying that God won't allow the rain to drop at Garden View Farm and Resort.
We are worried, that is our nature. We provided a parabolic tent before the day of the wedding but the photographer and organizer instructed us to remove it because the color of the parabolic tent will reflect in our faces and will give an unwanted result in the pictures.
Yes, we removed it and it made us so worried as the clouds were so dark that time.
The rain drops a little bit before the ceremony starts and everyone is still praying for favorable weather.
God answered our prayer despite our worries. It's a miracle that it didn't rain in our location but it rained in all places that surrounds us.
The ceremony started and we are so happy it didn't rain until the ceremony ends. The wedding ceremony starts at 2:08pm and ends about 4pm.
There is more than an hour break for pica-pica and photo booth sessions. It is also a time that visitors can have pictures taken around the place or to have some chit chat with family and friends.
I also used that opportunity to have a walk around the Garden View Farm and Resort. Do you want to go with me? Let's go.
From the word garden, this place is originally a garden, a farm of the owner until a pandemic comes and they put up a pool and make it a resort.
Welcome to Garden View Farm and Resort.
The pool
You can go there and have some fun at their beautiful, clean and cold pool. I haven't tried swimming here as we were there to witness a wedding but the water is so inviting because of its color, it looks so clean.
Before you can reach the pool, you will pass by this beautiful pathway with unique designs along the way.
This is also a pathway beside their pool. It is clean and relaxing as your eyes would see those green grass in the ground, colorful flowers on the side and neat designs of their fences.
The food cafe
When you're hungry you can also visit their food cafe. They offer different foods and snacks. The pathway going there is so good too. You can imagine that you are walking in the aisle. The flower stand looks so elegant.
The garden
There were lots of mango trees around and under their shades are the beautiful fruit designed table and chairs.
There were apple, watermelon, mango, strawberry and pineapple but I only have that two pictures of apple chairs and watermelon because I felt embarrassed as they were looking at me while taking pictures of those chairs they are sitting on, lol.
There is also another design in the other side of the garden near the flower garden.
You can also find circle and stars shaped landscapes of different beautiful and colorful flowers with a beautiful heart shape design above.
On the other side you can find their flower garden.
There is a place where you can find a wide plantation of zinnia. They comes in different colors and they gave us a lot of beautiful flowers.
There is also a group of dahlias. This one captured my attention.
There is also a swamp sunflower so bright and captivating in its golden color.
There are a lot of different bougainvillea with different beautiful colors.
But this one really get my attention because of its color.
A perfect spot for picture taking
You can go up and look around the place with this LOVE design. Mt. Matutum is over looking in here but this time the clouds covered it. You can also look around the pineapple plantation in the other side. There are also lots of sunflower at the back.
You can also have some beautiful pictures with this windmill design and you will pass with this aisle full of flowers along the side.
This is like a small stage to be used for programs like birthday, wedding, anniversaries and many more to celebrate. I amazed as they also recycled plastic bottles. Those colorful flower as the background is made with plastic bottles painted in different colors.
The kids playground
Garden View farm and resort also have a place for kids to enjoy. They also have a little playground.
You can meet these beautiful and wonderful friends.
You can be like a peacock when you will sit here and have some picture.
There is also a mini slide but I wonder I didn't have a picture of it.
There is also a swing that little kids would really enjoy.
There is also a small cottage to enjoy some food or rest for a while.
I haven't finished yet walking around the Garden View Farm and Resort when my brother call me to go to their location to have a family portrait and then the reception program started. The program ended at about 8 in the evening and I don't have time to continue my walk.
