Motorcycle ride to the Apure border (English/Spanish)

A loving greeting to all my Hive friends, especially to the Wednesday adventurers. Yesterday my dear @aly.squid and I, decided to go for a ride on our motorcycle, on a road that we love. Surrounded by nature, with green fields and mountains that rise majestically on the horizon, this road that connects the borders of the state of Tachira and the state of Apure, is simply fascinating.

We have been to this place on several occasions, as our work has required us to do so. And recently, we have been through several communities in this area. Our motorcycle ride was very beautiful, because despite being a very hot area, as it is the end of the state of Táchira that is closer to the plains, this day, we were fortunate to enjoy a cloudy sky and cool weather. The wind in our face, the sun shining through the clouds in the sky and the fresh air filling our lungs as we drove along the road winding through the fields.

We were able to admire the fields, the herds of cows grazing peacefully and the rural houses with their flowery gardens. We stopped at a viewpoint to contemplate the impressive views of the plain and the mountains in the distance, a spectacle that left us impressed. We also passed several streams and bridges.

After a couple of hours of riding, we finally achieved one of our goals, we reached the state of Apure. I'm not going to lie to you, it was very exciting because it was the first time we traveled to another state on the bike. When I had my car I traveled everywhere, but on the motorcycle it has been different, for starters, Aly usually drives, which does not bother me, because I enjoy the ride a lot, more than when I had the responsibility of driving. But well, when we arrived at the border with Apure, we found a small, but picturesque welcome sign. Seeing the Venezuelan flag next to the Tachira state flag fluttering in the wind was really touching.

We were there only for a moment, we did not dare to go further, since we did not know much and we did not have a marked plan. So, having achieved our goal of reaching the Apire state, we decided to return. The return home was as pleasant as the ride itself. It was wonderful, because the sun never came out, it stayed between nine o'clock and partially peeked out. But more importantly, we didn't get rained on either. The sky dressed by the clouds, created an unforgettable visual spectacle that accompanied us all the way back.

Without a doubt, this motorcycle ride was one of the ones I enjoyed the most. I'm sure we will come back here, because there are many interesting communities around this beautiful road. And we will surely find many stories to tell full of the beauty and charm of rural life. We can't wait to come back and explore these wonderful communities further on future motorcycle rides.

Paseo en moto, hasta la frontera de Apure (Ingles/Español)

Un saludo amoroso para todos mis amigos de Hive, especialmente para los aventureros de los miércoles. El día de ayer mi querida @aly.squid y yo, decidimos salir a pasear en nuestra moto, por una carretera que nos encanta. Rodeada de naturaleza, con campos verdes y montañas que se alzan majestuosas en el horizonte, esta vía que conecta las fronteras del estado Táchira y el Estado Apure, es simplemente fascinante.

Hemos estado en varias ocasiones por este lugar, ya que nuestro trabajo nos lo ha exigido. Y recientemente, hemos estado por varias comunidades de este sector. Nuestro paseo en moto fue muy hermoso, porque a pesar de ser una zona muy calurosa, pues es el extremo del estado Táchira que está más cerca de los llanos, pues este día, tuvimos la fortuna de disfrutar de un cielo nublado y un clima fresco. El viento en nuestro rostro, el sol brillando entre las nubes en el cielo y el aire fresco llenando nuestros pulmones mientras recorríamos la carretera que serpentean a través de los campos.

Pudimos admirar los campos, los rebaños de vacas pastando apaciblemente y las casas rurales con sus jardines floridos. Nos detuvimos en un mirador para contemplar las impresionantes vistas de la llanura y las montañas en la distancia, un espectáculo que nos dejó impresionadas. También pasamos por varios riachuelos y puentes.

Después de un par de horas de paseo, por fin logramos uno de nuestros objetivos, llegamos al estado Apure. No voy a mentirles, fue muy emocionante porque es la primera vez que viajamos a otro estado en la moto. Cuando tenía mi carro viaje por todos lados, pero en la moto ha sido diferente, para empezar, generalmente conduce Aly, cosa que no me molesta, porque disfruto mucho del paseo, más que cuando tenía la responsabilidad de conducir. Pero bien, cuando llegamos a la frontera con apure, nos encontramos con un pequeño, pero pintoresco letrero de bienvenida. Verla bandera de Venezuela junto a la del estado Táchira ondeando con el viento fue realmente conmovedor.

Estuvimos allí solo un momento, no nos atrevimos a pasar más lejos, ya que poco conocemos y no teníamos un plan marcado. Asi que alcanzando el logro de llegar hasta el estado Apire, decidimos regresar. El regreso a casa fue tan placentero como el paseo en sí. Fue maravilloso, porque el sol nunca salió, se mantuvo entre las nueves y parcialmente se asomaba. Pero lo más importante, tampoco nos llovió. El cielo vestido por las nubes, crearon un espectáculo visual inolvidable que nos acompañó durante todo el camino de vuelta.

Sin duda, este paseo en moto ha sido uno de los que más me ha gustado. Estoy segura de que volveremos por acá, porque hay muchas comunidades interesantes alrededor de esta bella carretera. Y seguro encontraremos muchas historias para contar llenas de la belleza y su encanto de la vida rural. Estamos ansiosas por volver y explorar más a fondo estas maravillosas comunidades en futuros paseos en moto.
