It was not on my list to visit Higashimuki Shopping Street but I decided to look around since I was already here. 😎 The shopping street is just beside the Nara Station. It has the landmark of the fountain and just turn right from the train station and you can see this shopping street. A dango shop that offers sweets and snacks. Their popular item was the dangos on the skewers. People were attracted to the smell of the sweet aroma~ I think no one was interested in buying live plants for now. This is a Daiso known for cheap but quality items that are under 100 yen. Since it was Summer, cooling tools and fans were on display. Had a shopping galore? Daiso got you a big tote, even an insulated one. Pretty cool!😎 Tourists and locals can opt to hire a photographer to get the best shrine photos. I guess this is a photo booth perfect for friends and couples, hehe. I just want to take a photo of the deer in a kimono, cute! On every corner I looked at, the souvenir shops, restaurants, and gachas were all in Shika-theme(deer). Of course, Nara is known for those polite deer! 😍🦌 Who’s not gonna love those cute deer keychains? 🤩 The Gacha shop was super packed with kids to adults. Ahh~ it was hard to resist because you can only get these here. I already had some from Kyoto and Osaka and might make a separate blog for that. Wow, a rickshaw gacha! 🤩 It was a first for me to see one. I bet you have to assemble this since it has a weird shape for it to fit in a clear ball. On the other gacha dispenser, it reminded me of the show Shogun. Udon, ramen, tempura- just naming of the few dishes this restaurant offers. A big menu for the people to scan before entering the restaurant was displayed outside- and intensifying my hunger just looking at it haha. 😁 Was this a marketing strategy? But I was here to eat somewhere else. It was past lunch already so probably just a small waiting time. Orders were all placed by just taps on the screen. Only three people waiting in the line, so I guess coming here before lunch time is the best time. What the bull?? 😬 I bet this restaurant serves the highest quality of beef! (Thank God the bull was not real😮💨) It was time to go before the rush hour. This is the Nara Station just few minutes from Higashimuki Shopping Street.
