Home Poetry Wednesday Walk
"Drudge day of shopping, why it's pensioner discount day...,
some Silvers still have pep in their step while others hang onto the shopping trolley,
going so slowly they require a chevron to warn you "I'm super slow!"
Everyone check the per kilogram cost, cash has disappeared down the hole in the bucket,
economists predict it will become worse before better!
Happy shopping on Wednesday, depresses you just paying what you have to pay!"_ My words and ramblings....!
Swinging through 4 shops at maximum 5 on any given Wednesday, first always green grocery and a quick chat, fresh fruit and vegetables from market selected, along with my weekly fix of Samoosas freshly cooked by local Hindi lady. Some call them somosa I say samoosa, made with spicy flavoured minced beef with vegetables. Shared with Woody, lunch on my return home, yummy!
Normal store for basics like meat, eggs, pasta, toiletries Pick n Pay is closest runaround place, already booked my freshly sliced biltong at Biltong Shop, may collect some beer and wine in special PnP liquor store.
That is the four, the fifth is pharmacy once a month for the pills that don't make you high, just well keep you ticking over.....
Now onto the good stuff, only added photography from the last week in the garden, the odd shots that do make me cheerful and smile.
No photography ever taken at shops and stores as I find this a task I do not enjoy, one has to eat..., then shit it out don't forget the bog rolls also cost a lot!
Loads of walking, none for fun this is a true reflection of what happens in the morning, the afternoon spent on Hive or walking the garden.
This week shopping for three homes, some could not go since their driveway flushed away in recent storm most definitely not sturdy enough to allow passage in a motor vehicle.
Dropped of groceries running up from gate to house, enjoying the company of Sarge the dog turning inside out with greetings. The other no bother as they collect from me at the house.
All photography using Canon Powershot SX730 HS.
