Wednesday Walk 01.08.25 - A Cold Overcast Wednesday!

Well my friends for this week's #wednesdaywalk it was "cold" - for here 45°F - 7.2°C, with a 15 - 20 mph wind / 24.14 - 32.18 kph coming in from the North.
Needless to say, I did not spend a lot of time outdoors today! Though I will admit it is warm for most people right now and also a bit warmer than it would usually be here as well, which I will show you in a moment.
But first I did get this photo early in the morning and I wanted to show you what kind of Skies we had today...

Very different and very overcast!

So, back to how warm it actually is...
After awhile I visited a friend and saw his flowers were still blooming, on January the 8th! I figured that that was pretty odd, even for here so I wanted to share them with you today!
This is his "Purple Petunias - Surfinia" and it is looking pretty brilliant, even in the gray!

His "Kalanchoe" was blooming as well, I know this plant is a succulent and a spring bloomer - but here it is,

And another Petunia that he had,

And it goes on because I thought about it when I got home and my Zinnias are still blooming as well,

Late in the afternoon I decided to try and give the Park a shot, you never know right? So I drove over there - "Too Cold" to try the 2 miles / 3.21 kilometers on one of the bikes, especially with the wind! Well, as you can imagine - "deserted" and still very overcast!
Here is the lights in the empty parking lot - normally "fishing prime time",

So, I decided to take a few shots of the Fishing Pier lights. This is from the left,

And then I was pretty cold after just a few minutes! So...
I jumped in the truck and called it a day!

And that was it for this week, I hope we get some better weather during the upcoming week!
