Wednesday Walk 01.22.25, "Contrail Wednesday"!

Well my friends for this week's #wednesdaywalk it was "pretty cold" - "brutal for here"! I woke up to 26° F / -3.33° C, pretty unbelievable for Corpus! But we were in the 40's by 11:00 a.m. - "thank goodness"!
And Winter is over, about 2.5 days. From here on our we are in a warming trend, which I hope sticks!
So, anyways today was pretty chilly and started with this Sunrise,

And then I went to feed the Kitties at the old house and caught this,
A Contrail,

And I looked and saw some more of it, notice the Rainbow in the Clouds,

I gave things a few hours to warm-up and headed out on the Black bike to the Park. By then it was 50°F / 10°C - still chilly in the wind to be sure. On the way out I caught this Contrail at the end of the drive,

I rode over the the Park, it was a bit cool so I did not stay out long!
This is a view towards the Harbor house,

And at the Fishing Pier, those are Contrails disapating...

This is one running the length of Mustang Island,

And at the same time a look to the Northwest,

Almost dreamy!

This is the Sky around the corner from my house,

And this is from the end of the driveway,

And this as well,

Now - interesting is this...
Did you notice that "Rainbow" thing returned as well?

This is an enlarged section of the previous photo,

Somewheres most of the other photos have this also. I have been trying to figure the Rainbow thing out for awhile - but never tied it to the Contrails! "I Wonder"?!?! I will keep in this and see what I figure out.

We too are seeing a bit of a warming trend but still so cold, ricght now its 8F with a high of 32, we may see 40 in about a week if the forecast holds true

-3.33° C sounds too cold. Wish you could send us some cold over here. 5 to 10 degrees cooler would be great. LOL! Glad weather improved there so you could enjoy your visit to the harbor. Thank you for sharing another adventure with us. An advance happy weekend...
