At my age I have never been in Zoo like the big ones where there are a lot of animals. Though of course I saw some but only those that we identify as domestic or usually in the countryside. That is why when our companions mentioned we will be dropping by at Taipei Zoo I was kind of excited!
This is the next day after visiting Taipei 101. Thus the weather was not in our favor as it was raining! Mostly during my entire stay actually. One thing I am thankful for was only a few droplets were pouring yet enough to wet the ground.
With that everyone was holding an umbrella while lining up to purchase a ticket at the Vendo machine. One of the things I observe is that as much as possible manpower is reduced and replaced by technology.
And ticket was not expensive as it cost only 60NT!
As we entered, I immediately looked for the comfort room as I wanted to release the sudden call of nature. Then I happened to pass by here!
This is where you can rent Strollers and wheelchairs for convenience. Well as per checking the Zoo was 167 hectares and carrying a baby or oldies couldn't manage to walk that long!
I wanted to sit here for a while to rest while waiting but couldn't because it was wet.
Yet this lady seemed don't mind at all.
I was looking for a sign in order to know the nearest attraction from us and it said Giant panda House.
While walking towards the direction this catches my attention.
Flamingo's and its beautiful #Reflections. My first time seeing one in person. We stayed here for a while as we took some photos, videos, and selfies.
Wait, am I seeing it right? I walked nearer and I was! Indeed colorful poops, lol!
Witty and yes this was near the CR!
Before reaching the Pandas, here comes first the Koalas!
They are kept in the next building yet you don't have to worry, just follow those arrows for directions.
Finally!
Oh no! Indeed they are lazy 😆. Imagine being in line waiting for your viewing turn but then find them lying like lifeless? 🤣. No wonder they got that body. I badly wanted to knock the glass to get their attention. It is my first time seeing it but I haven't seen it in full view! Common Pandas!
But naaa they aren't bothered and enjoy chillin. What else can we do? Either wait or move to the destination?
Here it says Rainforest area.
**Do you think we spotted the black -capped Squirrel Monkey?
Spotted it in the above photos? There are two actually and honestly it took a little bit before I saw them. As this species was not huge plus there are still a lot of trees, yes a real one. It was a forest and the space was enough for the numbers of animals kept.
Toco Toucan from afar we could hear the sound of a bird that was so loud, full of energy. So, we walked down there to see what kind it was.
Before meeting the scandalous one, say HI first to this shy peacock.
Truly a beautiful bird as you can see those hands of tourists wanted to take a photo.
To maintain safety and privacy, there was a glass wall partition to their sanctuary and tourists.
There are I think more than two but these are only those who are willing to pose.
Of course the forest wouldn't be complete without these gorillas.
And they are happily playing at least, giving us a show! The next scene almost made my heart jump out my chest!
I thought it was real and was prepared to grab my husband's hand and run!
Even the pavement was this wet and I am sure we could easily reach the exit!
When it is life that matters who wouldn't? 😂
Hello everyone, hope you had a great mid-week! This is my entry in #Wednesdaywalk hosted by @tattoodjay and #makemesmile by @elizacheng.
