The thought of having a family hang out outside the city, in a relaxing place is refreshing itself. A few weeks ago, we got the chance to do so after many days.
We were eight members in total, including my mom and cousins. It was a bit chaotic but we loved it. lol. We were twitting like birds the whole time.

There are some resorts, amusement parks, and river houses just outside the city. We took this road to reach there, it's one of my favorite. Because it's like you can observe the whole city from a step back. If you find high ground to put your feet on, you literally can see it. I was taking the time to see the city life and traffic out there for a while.

We had to go through a residential area that is far better than the rest of the city. It's less crowded, more organized, and has more green surrounding it. It seems like I'm not in Dhaka anymore. Because there's no way other places got so less traffic during a busy day.

I wish every corner of this city would look like this. They got a playground, park, shopping center, prayer house, educational institution; everything inside the area. But the truth is, not every one of us can afford this place because the living and housing cost is too high there.

Anyway, let's talk about the weather.

This is from where we took local transport to go to Zinda Park. There's a lot of construction work going on there. As you can see the sky was a bit gloomy, later it rained down for a while. We didn't mind the rain because it was too hot and we had raincoats and umbrellas. We quite enjoyed the rain when we reached our destination. I will share more photos later in another post about how we enjoyed the rain at the riverside.

It was indeed an enjoyable day out.

Have a wonderful day, everyone.

Thanks for joining Wednesday Walk :), I truly enjoy exploring the world virtually each Wednesday seeing walks from all around the globe and feeling I am there and experiencing it all myself, such as I did in your post just now :)

Walking with that wonderful place is a great walk indeed!
Love the shots😍😍
Happy walking🥰

It really was. Thanks :) :)

The truth is ugly. We have to pay at least 60 takas for the rickshaw fare just to have a cup of tea. The weather is indeed better, but when we have to rush towards Bashundhora gate, it's a nightmare. What is sad is the securities don't allow us to explore free places. Though we somehow manage to do it with bikes. The owner is also not providing an easy passage for the Students of AIUB. First, he demanded money. Now he is asking for a share in the Board. The playground is not free, by the way.

I understand. One of my cousins is also in AIUB and he sometimes shares the situation. Well, there's good and bad in every place. What I meant to say is, that other residential areas could adopt the green view and social facilities like Bashundhora. Dhaka would be amazing if we could do so. But that's just a wish without any hope.
Thanks for sharing your experience.

This is usually in exclusive subdivisions or condominuims. Yet yeah market value of properties are really expensives😂. Naa,, could not afford 😅

lol, I couldn't afford them in my lifetime and there's no regret. hehehe...Be happy with what we have.
