Since the beginning of this year, my days have been pretty busy. Picking up and dropping off my son at school takes up a good chunk of my day.
The house chores scream my name after I come back home. And cooking, there's no break for it. In between all of this chaos, I try to slide in some online work.
A peaceful walk is not a thing for many, many days.
I feel exhausted and need time to cope with this busy schedule. I don't know how kids never get exhausted. They are super coping, and mine is always playful.
Recently, I dropped my son to a newly opened indoor play zone for an hour. He doesn't also get much time to play at home as he stays in school and his tuition place after school for almost the whole day. So I thought, why not make his day special by taking him to the play zone?
While he was enjoying himself inside, I explored the busy street. Actually, I was feeling hungry and went to find a quick snack. But there are only restaurants, no small carts or outdoor shops to grab something.
This street vendor caught my attention and was selling Velpuri. It's a crispy bread/Puri with a filling of chickpeas, potatoes, and, as you can see, many spices.
One bowl cost only $.20. It was too spicy, and in a hungry stomach, it tasted good.
This is a popular street food in our region. It's not hygienic and will not suit others' stomachs as their system doesn't have the antibodies we build over the year. So avid trying this type of food if you are new and don't want to get sick.
It took me only a couple of minutes to finish the serving. I was looking at the busy street and walking past the street carts. Seems like it's a street market. There were many clothing carts on the side of the road.
I walked around the street for over half an hour, browsed some clothes, did window shopping, and went back to the play zone to pick up my son.
I hope things will improve, the life schedule will go smoothly, and we can readjust everything to make some room for enjoyment.
