I wished for a rain today even though we have to go somewhere for my appointment. I mean, who wouldn't want that when we have to be out all day. I'd rather bring an umbrella and welcome the rain with open arms, at least it will be less tiring too when it's chilly outside. But because it didn't rain today, we walk around feeling all hot and itchy because of our sweat while strolling around. Although my appointment is important, but the schedule is actually in the afternoon, so we started traveling as early as 8 o'clock. We have other plan before that, so that we won't feel bored waiting to the set time.
After an hour of travel, we finally arrived and the first thing I did was order three Burger for Mama and myself. I'm always craving for this particular burger because I really like that they put vegetables in their burger like cucumber and cabbage, unlike in other shop that only out patties and some mayo and ketchup. This one's still the best! As for why there's three, well, I plan to eat the other one for afternoon snack, teheee. Anyhow after eating our burger, we then proceed on getting our number in the hospital. Even we are early, I still got number 4, on my last check up, I am the 3rd to be called.
So after getting a number, we then started our plan for the remaining time that we have before the said appointment. If before, we rode tricycle to get to the capital, this time we decided to walk even if it's hot. Good thing we did though as we get to see more on the way. Ah, in our way, we stumbled upon this stall here with lot's of people checking on them. I think they sell a really yummy and flavorful porridge for them to get in line here. We didn't check how they prepare the porridge as we don't have the plan to buy. I'm not sure about the price too, but I bet it's not too expensive seeing how these people here lining up in here to get theirs.
Moving on, I just noticed that this part here is flooding, I think they also experienced that strong rain last night. And it's not just here that has a little flooding, somewhere in other part of this has a little flooding too and the ground has some dirt, it's a good thing i'm wearing a slipper, the kind with a fluffy and tall slipper. But i'm sure this trees and even those flowers are so happy with the rain last night. They get to experience getting wet again after a long months of waiting.
So, me and mama keep on walking and walking because I want to go visit again the thrift shop that we visit the last time, where I get 6 quality t-shirt for 200 PHP. They are all quality, no himolmol and all, in fact they all look new. But I spend more than 25 minutes just to find those good quality shirt. We just walk to get there because it's just close and we have limited money on our pocket, so we decided to just walk. And we went there with the hope that I could find something like that again but unfortunately, I didn't find anything. Huhu, sadt!
We look more in other thrift store by walking around here, we saw this all pink thrift shop, I mean with pink hangers, lol - thanks to that they are easy to spot even in a distance, lololol. This one sells their items in much cheaper price than the first one, but you could find a much expensive one at the back. I check and check but we still didn't find anything here, aigoo. I'll just try to look maybe in Bansud nalang. Hope this time, we'll get to find something nice. I'm also looking for a short, the cargo short style
We continue our walk but this time, we just want to do it slowly, I couldn't find what I want so I decided to look for a food that I will bring home. I'm thinking of getting that Custard Cake I bought the last time we visit here but too bad, it's not available this time. But it's really hot today, even if we want to walk slowly, we can't do that because it's hot, lol. Mama walk too fast, but i'm not following her pace that's why I'm taking my time in walking. I'm still afraid to do lots of walking because of my nose.
And when I can't take the heat anymore, I suggested Mom to finish what we have to do in this part of Pinamalayan. So we just buy some kakanin and bread, a take home for the oldies and the doggos. After that, we headed in the terminal to look for a tricycle because seriously, if walk more in this kind of weather, we might just fall to the ground because of heat and exhaustion. Why it has be this hot, this day. Aigoooo
We we're able to ride on a tricycle immediately, and we are moving fast just to escape the hell of a heat, lol. And these are the products I bought home. Mama is carrying her own plastic bag too with the item. Mine ia heavier I think, because those kakanin I get is kinda heavy. I can already imagine the heaviness of it once we consume it all. And I wasn't able to buy the Custard Cake I want, but I still got something else which I think the oldies will love.
Here's the banana bread I got for the oldies, while I got cheese bar and mamon. Unfortunately I wasn't able to take a photo of it because I am busy devouring it all, lol. Same with the Kakanin, we got Buchi with mung bean paste as a filling, we also got rice cake with Latik on top as well as the one with Coco Jam on top. It's so sad I can't share a photo of those, huhu. Why I forgot to take a photo before devouring it (≧▽≦). Was it because of the excitement? Lol. We eat it in the morning as a breakfast, that's why.
