What makes you excited? What makes you happy? Is it a person, some happenings in your life, or maybe a thing? If you will ask Me and Mom, it's money, so how about you? Lol.
Do you know someone who doesn't feel happiness anymore because of their money? If you know someone, please tell them that they can just donate their money to me. I'll accept it with open arms and an open pocket, thank you in advance. LOL!
Gosh, what kind of introduction is this? Well, my topic is kind of connected to money, so forgive my greed for money, no, no, I call it LOVE FOR MONEY, lol.
I think it was four or three days ago that Mom informed me that she would need my mini e-fan on Wednesday and that I should charge it so she could use it for an hour. You know how handy these kinds of things are for outdoor activities. But why will she need it, you ask? Because it is "Senior's Day," what is senior's day? Well, I just made that word up, but it is really for senior citizens. That beautiful day is the day that they will receive their pension, so they will wait in a long line again just to get their money, just like the usual. And that's where the mini e-fan will be used. And it's a beautiful day because it involves money! LOL.
On Wednesday, the day finally arrived. The oldies prepared earlier because they wanted to finish it faster so that we could also get home faster. It's a beautiful and happy day, so SMILE. Selfie before it gets busy later.
We rode on a tricycle, so we could get there in a flash. If we walk by foot, it'll surely take more than 10 minutes, while if we ride a tricycle, it will take just 5, or, no, no, maybe just four minutes. It's not that far, yeah. And yes, I am accompanying them. It can't be helped as I am my mom's "human cane." I sound proud here, yeah, because I am. If you see me here, then you see me ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ.
I really thought we were the first ones to arrive here, but guess what? When we arrive, I think there are already 7 to 10 people waiting. Some have already positioned themselves and sat on the cold pavement while waiting. Maybe they get there at 5 a.m., I'm not sure. We have the saying that "an early bird catches the worm." Arriving there first will get them in line first, so surely they will also finish faster. That's what my oldies do too, that is why they love to be the early birds, to get it over fast.
Minutes after we arrived, more people followed, and the venue slowly filled with seniors. Just wow, there are really a lot of old people here at our place. It's also a good thing that people managing the whole thing arrive earlier compared to before, where they would arrive so late and make those old people wait in hot and itchy kind of weather, like TH! Thanks to that, they also started much earlier than expected.
My oldies were able to get in line for the first batch. And while I was waiting for their turn, I took that chance to roam around the area and check if there were any changes already. As I see it, a lot has changed already.
A change is good, especially if it has a great effect on all of the people here. I also see new plants in the area that I didn't see before. It just grows there, but I find them pretty even though it is really just some useless grass, or maybe not.
Walking around can really make you see more things. I discovered this on the other side of the building. It is a tiny flower, I took several photos of it just so I could get a good one. It's pretty, no? I am so in love with the color of it. I am not really familiar with this one, but if you know, let me know in the comment section.
Another one is this, guys. I won't notice this one if not for the old lady who asked for my help. So, I was busy looking around when an old lady approached me and asked where the comfort room was. But I also don't have an idea where it is located, so I told her, "I'm not sure where it is." The old lady then answered, Maybe it is at the back. So I told her, She can check it. But she told me that she's afraid that she might slip while walking. I just told her that I would accompany her to where it is. Then I saw this! There are only a few of them, and I find them so pretty. While waiting for the old lady, that's when I took these. Do you know what it is?
I continue my walk, and then I notice these. I remember this because we had this in our old home before. I often see these at my old school too. We call it "Makahiya" in the Philippines because when you poke it, It is like a kid who gets shy and shrinks. It is Mimosa pudica to all, I think. If you are familiar with it, it is like a "touch-me-not" plant, it's unique and amazing. Look how it shrinks after just poking it, lol. It's really cute but I'm just wondering how this works. What kind of magic is this, lol. I mean, how does it happen, no? It's really amazing.
It's really hot that day, so as much as I want to enjoy this view here, I can't because Mr. Sunny is like a madman, trying to put anyone on fire. This is the kind of view at the back of this building that you can enjoy, only if it's not that hot. Staying here for a minute is like putting yourself in boiling water, lol. Or maybe I am just exaggerating it. And by the way, did you notice that building beside that tree? They are finally finished building it.
Here's the full view, the last time we visited here, the construction was still ongoing. I even saw someone in uniform inside. I think it is also like an office. I'm not sure in which department, though. I noticed a woman inside. I saw her while squatting, trying to find a good angle to take a picture. I'm not sure what she was thinking when she saw me, but I'm okay because I'm wearing a cap and a facemask. So, I believe she didn't know me or doesn't even have an idea who I am, thank goodness. I thought no one was around, tch, I made sure of it. But I failed to check the inside of that building. (≧▽≦)
I was still doing something on the side of the building when Mom called. She said they were finally done and that we should already go home. Overall, we just stayed in this building doing "their things" for one hour. It's new because usually it takes more than that. But, thanks heaven, they finish quickly. I went running to where my oldies are and found a tricycle that would take us home. I just took this last photo while I was sitting in the tricycle. As you can see, there are still more people. For sure, this will take more hours to finish. But either way, we're done here.
SAYONARA!
