Running a Small Errand in the Town's Market and Buying Pan de Coco in One of Our Favorite Bakeries

in #hive-1555308 days ago

I've been craving pan de coco since yesterday, so I decided to come with Mama to the market. I didn't go to the market that often until now because I'm still limiting myself going to faraway places. But when I have a chance or if I feel good, I can go somewhere as long as I'm with Mama. I'm still afraid that I might experience another bleeding. Because of what I've experienced before, I got anxious on every little move that I do. I developed a phobia, thanks to that ಥ_ಥ, aigoooooo.

Anyhow, I went to the market with Mama yesterday mainly because I wanted to buy some bread. But while in there, I also decided to buy other things, but to be honest, it was also like giving myself more time to explore the outside world. After staying at home, I kind of missed this area. I took that chance to look around too. Though not too much, I very much enjoyed our small walk that time. And actually, when Mommy F learned that I'd come with Mama to the market, she asked me to do an easy task. I just bought some stuff, which I gladly do.

The market is still the same, though, it is still as lively as ever. Noisy too, if I may add. You can see and hear a lot, even someone's life stories coming on a different mouth, lol. And, ah, we also experience a little traffic on this part. Maybe because it's still a little early, there are a lot of people at the market. I'm sure some of them are also like us, who have to buy some ingredients or just want to check what's new in the market. But only on this part that has traffic, on the other side, you'll see an empty sidewalk, which is kind of sad to see.

Moving on, after getting all we needed, we headed to this bakery. They sell a lot of different kinds of bread, and may I add that it is also always fresh? I especially love their Pan de Coco, Original Ensaymada, and Macaroons. Here's Mom already choosing what she wants to buy.

As for me, I want to get Ensaymada, Macaroons, and Pan de Coco, but because these breads are kind of expensive now compared to before, I had to pick only a few of them. So I ended up having a Pa de Coco, which I shared with the oldies. The bread price starts at 5 PHP. And they are not that big either, but I think two of these are enough to make you full. But I could eat three, ehermmm, lol.

After getting the bread we wanted, we then started walking again. If ever you get lost in Bansud Mindoro, you can spot this bakery easily, and if you ever had a hard time locating it, then this is what its surroundings are like. Ehe. With that small stream at the back of it. By the way, this small stream is also connected to the one at home in the backyard. And it is all connected to the big river, not too far away from home. I remember we used to take a dip in that river. Too sad, I don't have a photo of it.

So, going home, we just took the usual route. You can also see some shops in this spot, but most of the time, this spot is really just quite compared to the one in the main market. While walking here, someone asked Mama for a location. I just let them talk while I mind my own business and while taking photos. I didn't bother joining in on their conversation because, from what I heard, even I don't know who the man is looking for.

But anyway, on our way home, I spotted this purple petals on the ground. Mama asked the man she saw in the house where this flowers was planted, but he just said that we should ask the one who planted it, which is his wife, lol. But the wife is not present at the moment (≧▽≦). These are really tiny flowers but so pretty. They bring color to their house, they have other flowers aside from this but couldn't take a photo of it. Anyone here knows what it's called? Feel free to comment and let us know please ( ◜‿◝ )♡. Thanks.

We finally arrive home, and so I excitedly get my Pan de Coco to eat with my oldies. This pan de coco has coconut fillings in it. And those fillings were seasoned with sugar and some other ingredients. The coconut was grated, and I think they squeezed its milk after grating, and that's when they seasoned it. Well, that's according to Mommy F. She's a baker, and I remember her making a pan de coco with her brother, who is my papa. And once they cook it and the neighbors smell it, they will immediately visit home to buy it. This is really the best to eat when it's still hot or freshly baked. Have you ever tried pan de coco before?

I think the other purple is called Blue Ternate but not sure about the other one or if they are the same plant haha. I could be wrong tho🤣

I never liked pan de coco haha. My favorites are choco lanay, spanish bread, and cinnamon. Nothing beats a freshly baked bread in general thooo

Ehhhh, but they look really the same. I just check it and this is edible which is ao cool. Has a lot of benefits too 🤩

But why, just curious 😆. Oh spanish bread is the best! It's best when they cook it a little longer, yong mapula pula pagka luto na, uwu. And i think I haven't tried Choco lanay, it looks yummy, kita ko sa google result 🤤
