My share for the @wednesdaywalk group, as inspired by @tattoodjay.
Nothing makes me feel more alive than going for an early morning walk after the rains. And when no one else is up for getting their shoes muddy...leaving the entire area for me to enjoy. Of course, I love sharing the outdoors as much as anyone, but let's be honest; if I can get an hour to myself and not see another single living soul, I'll take it. Call it the introvert in me.
For this post, I wanted to share with you four photos of trees I took in the rising, morning sun after a night of heavy rainstorms. The trail that I take is an old truck/fire road, and there are a few lonely trees that hang out there and keep me company, three or four times a week. It doesn't matter what season it is, but if the sun starts to creep over the bluffs in the east, the light hits the trees splendidly, and I'm in heaven.
I think it's called the golden light, and for good reason. It's amazing how getting up bit early can lead to such lovely light to be able to photograph. I mean, usually take a photograph of my feet and shoes, but I opted for my favorite shot of the entire walk instead.
No filter is needed...just me and the Pixel 8 Pro camera. When I try to go minimalist, I really do go minimalist, and capture whatever I can in the moment. Thanks for checking out my #wednedaywalk share! I hope you had a wonderful Wednesday as well!
