Hello friends of #wednesdaywalk ! As every week, here I am to participate in our friend @tattoodjay initiative that allows me to show you my walk of the day. Today I hope you enjoy this walk as much as I enjoyed it while I was doing it.
I will tell you that the first thing I did was to go to work to deliver my invoices and chlorine control sheets, as that is very important to be able to get paid for the work done. I left very early in order to be able to comply with everything planned and also because the weather was very good, with the usual island heat that I like so much.
¡Hola amigos de #wednesdaywalk ! Como cada semana, aquí estoy para participar en la iniciativa de nuestro amigo @tattoodjay que me permite mostrarles mi caminata del día. Hoy espero que disfruten de este recorrido tanto como lo disfruté mientras lo realizaba.
Les contaré que lo primero que hice fue ir a trabajar para entregar mis facturas y las hojas de control de cloro, ya que eso es muy importante para poder cobrar los trabajos realizados. Salí bien temprano para poder cumplir con todo lo planificado y también porque el clima estaba muy bueno, con el acostumbrado calor isleño que tanto me gusta.
I had to deliver invoices to the Costa Azul shopping center and the Unik Hotel, which are very close to each other. I preferred to enter the Costa Azul mall first before it opened its doors to the public.
I went to their offices, where I am always greeted with a smile, and made my delivery. Then, I walked out through the service corridors to the parking lot to head to the Unik Hotel.
Tenía que entregar las facturas en el centro comercial Costa Azul y en el Hotel Unik, que están muy cerca el uno del otro. Preferí entrar primero al centro comercial Costa Azul antes de que abriera las puertas al público.
Me dirigí a sus oficinas, donde siempre me reciben con una sonrisa, e hice mi entrega. Luego, salí por los pasillos de servicio hacia el parqueo para dirigirme al Hotel Unik.
When I arrived at the hotel, I was treated with their usual hospitality. As they are remodeling some areas, I had to walk a bit in search of the new office, but I was not displeased. On the contrary, I could see how well everything is looking. Finally, I handed in my bills and left the hotel.
Al llegar al hotel, me atendieron con su acostumbrada hospitalidad. Como están remodelando algunas áreas, tuve que caminar un poco en busca de la nueva oficina, pero eso no me disgustó. Al contrario, pude ver lo bien que está quedando todo. Finalmente, entregué mis facturas y me retiré del hotel.
I called my husband to let him know that I would have lunch in Rio and then go get him, because the truth is that I was very hungry and my lunch was left at home because I had to leave in such a hurry.
Llamé a mi esposo para comunicarle que almorzaría en Río y luego iría por él, porque la verdad es que tenía mucha hambre y mi almuerzo se me quedó en casa por salir tan apurada.
So I ordered some mixed rice, potato and cheese salad, and a small wheel of meat to regain energy so I could go out and pick him up at the Wyndham Hotel.
Así que pedí un poco de arroz mixto, ensalada de papa y queso, y una rueda pequeña de carne para recuperar energías y poder salir a recogerlo al Hotel Wyndham.
I picked him up and he took me to pick up some shipments at MRW for our venture, as we have a fair again this weekend in the municipality. It is exciting to see how our business is growing little by little.
Lo recogí y él me llevó a recoger unos envíos a MRW para nuestro emprendimiento, ya que este fin de semana tenemos nuevamente feria en el municipio. Es emocionante ver cómo nuestro negocio va creciendo poco a poco.
Finally, we went home with all the day's tasks accomplished.
At home, every night we make our plan for the next day and combine all the activities because the city is not very close to us. We have to make the most of each day and plan our gasoline well. That's why it's a success for us when we are able to fulfill what we have planned, because it's one less trip we have to make for a single task, although that has happened to us very few times.

Finalmente, nos fuimos a casa con todas las tareas del día cumplidas.
En casa, todas las noches hacemos nuestro plan para el día siguiente y combinamos todas las actividades porque la ciudad no nos queda muy cerca. Hay que aprovechar muy bien cada día y planificar bien la gasolina. Por eso, es todo un éxito para nosotros cuando podemos cumplir con lo planificado, porque es un viaje menos que tenemos que hacer para una sola tarea, aunque eso nos ha pasado muy pocas veces.
