Greetings dear #wednesdaywalk community! I hope you all are well. Here I am, as every Wednesday, to show you my walk thanks to the wonderful initiative of our friend @tattoodjay.
Today I'll tell you that my walk started very early in the morning when I left for work. The weather was great, with just some clouds at times, but no rain. I love weather like this, it fills me with energy and joy to see the vibrant colors of the natural and urban landscapes.
¡Saludos querida comunidad de #wednesdaywalk! Espero que todos estén bien. Aquí estoy, como cada miércoles, para mostrarles mi recorrido gracias a la maravillosa iniciativa de nuestro amigo @tattoodjay.
Hoy les contaré que mi recorrido comenzó muy temprano en la mañana cuando salí a trabajar. El clima estaba estupendo, con solo algunas nubes en ocasiones, pero nada de lluvia. Adoro el tiempo así, me llena de energía y alegría ver los colores vibrantes de los paisajes naturales y urbanos.
My tour today has been quite relaxed, as my husband will accompany me throughout the journey. This will be the case until next month, when he goes back to work, coinciding with the start of the high tourist season on the island. It is a pleasure to have his company on these tours, as we always find something interesting to share and discover together and I have the opportunity to capture them with the lens.
Mi recorrido de hoy ha sido bastante relajado, ya que mi esposo me acompañará durante todo el trayecto. Esto será así hasta el mes que viene, cuando él vuelva a incorporarse a trabajar, coincidiendo con el inicio de la temporada alta del turismo en la isla. Es un placer tener su compañía en estos recorridos, pues siempre encontramos algo interesante que compartir y descubrir juntos y tengo la oportunidad de capturarlos con el lente.
After lunchtime, my husband picked me up at work for another tour of the city. This time, my mission was to find a medicine for my father, as he cannot miss it in his daily treatment. I went to a pharmacy near my home, but they didn't have the milligram medication he needs. However, there was an option available: to buy the medication in a larger dose and then split it. However, I decided to continue searching to find the exact dosage.
We took 4 de Mayo Avenue, and I was struck by a piece of artwork in a small square next to the avenue. Unfortunately, it didn't have the name of the author, and I couldn't find anyone to ask. Still, it was a lovely moment, admiring the creativity and art that embellish the avenues in the city.
Después de la hora del almuerzo, esposo pasó por mí al trabajo para emprender un nuevo recorrido por la ciudad. Esta vez, mi misión era encontrar un medicamento para mi padre, ya que no puede faltar en su tratamiento diario. Me dirigí a una farmacia cercana de casa, pero allí no tenían el medicamento con el miligramos que él necesita. No obstante, había una opción disponible: comprar el medicamento en una dosis mayor y luego dividirlo. Sin embargo, decidí continuar buscando para encontrar la dosis exacta.
Tomamos la avenida 4 de mayo, y me llamó mucho la atención una pieza artística en una pequeña placita pegada a la avenida. Lamentablemente, no tenía el nombre del autor, y no pude encontrar a nadie a quien preguntar. Aun así, fue un momento encantador, admirando la creatividad y el arte que embellecen las avenidas en la ciudad.
We went through several pharmacies downtown, and finally, right next to the Plaza Bolivar in Porlamar, I found the medicine I needed. I was very pleased and happy, knowing that my father will not have to interrupt his treatment. I took the opportunity to take some pictures of the square, although I could not do so in the pharmacy, as there were several people there and I respected their right not to be photographed.
Pasamos por varias farmacias en el centro, y finalmente, justo al lado de la Plaza Bolívar de Porlamar, encontré el medicamento que necesitaba. Quedé muy complacida y feliz, sabiendo que mi padre no tendrá que interrumpir su tratamiento. Aproveché para tomar algunas fotografías de la plaza, aunque en la farmacia no pude hacerlo, ya que había varias personas y respeté su derecho a no ser fotografiadas.
With our objectives accomplished, we took the road back home, appreciating the beautiful scenery that the island has to offer us today. The vibrant colors of the sky and the tranquility of the surroundings, which every day surprises us with something new.
Con nuestros objetivos cumplidos, tomamos el camino de regreso a casa, apreciando el hermoso paisaje que la isla tiene para ofrecernos en el día de hoy. Los colores vibrantes del cielo y la tranquilidad del entorno, que todos los días nos sorprende con algo nuevo.
Arriving home, I felt satisfied and grateful for a productive day and most of all happy to have the medicine.
Sharing with all of you these Wednesday walks has become my weekly routine, as it allows me to share my experiences with all of you.

Al llegar a casa, me sentí satisfecha y agradecida por un día productivo y sobre todo feliz por tener el medicamento.
