Dear Hives, this week is off to a great start; I hope yours will be spectacular.
Once again, like every Wednesday, I join this cool initiative created on #wednesdaywalk by our dear friend @tattoodjay .
Today my route was quite simple, as I had to have a few hours to be able to fill up with gas. That, for me, is stressful and, when I have very sensitive allergies, being exposed so long to the smell of fuel is chaos for me. But it was necessary and I am going to refuel as I have some distant work to do this week and I don't want any mishaps to arise.
I left home very early and, as usual, I can not help but appreciate the beautiful scenery of the day that always gives me some beautiful view.

Hoy mi recorrido fue bastante sencillo, ya que tuve que disponer de unas cuantas horas para poder surtir gasolina. Eso, para mí, resulta estresante y, cuando tengo alergias muy sensibles, estar expuesta tanto tiempo al olor a combustible es un caos para mí. Pero era necesario y voy a cargar el combustible ya que esta semana tengo trabajos muy distantes por hacer y no quiero que surja ningún contratiempo.
Salí bien temprano de casa y, como ya es costumbre, no puedo dejar de apreciar lo hermoso del paisaje del día que siempre me regala alguna vista hermosa.
To fill up with gasoline, we prefer to go to the "Los Robles" gas pump, which is located in the municipality of Maneiro, Nueva Esparta, here on Margarita Island. This gasoline is not subsidized; it is at an international price of 0.50 cents on the dollar. Subsidized gasoline is so called because it is a government subsidy on gasoline. In our case it is 120 liters for 134 bolivars, which in dollars would be approximately 3.20 cents on the dollar, but it is not enough to be able to travel to distant places of work. For that reason I have to buy from the free one.
When I arrived at the gas station, which was not supposed to have a line, it turned out that there was because, like me, many people do not have enough fuel.
While waiting, I walked around the place and took the opportunity to take some pictures at the gas station that used to be a shopping center with arepera, equestrian center, car parts stores and one of the best copy center of the island, it was a very complete gas station in its time.

Por esa razón tengo que comprar de la liberada.
Al llegar a la gasolinera, que se supone no habría cola, resultó que sí había porque como yo, a muchos no les alcanza el combustible asignado.
Mientras esperaba, caminé por el lugar y aproveché para tomar algunas fotos en la gasolinera que antes era un centro comercial con arepera,centro hípico,tiendas de repuestos de vehículos y una de los mejores centro de copiado de la isla, era una gasolinera muy completa en sus tiempos.
After stocking up, we decided to leave since we had wasted so much of our time on that. We stopped by the market to do a little shopping and then headed home.
Al surtir, decidimos irnos ya que habíamos malgastado gran parte de nuestro tiempo en eso. Pasamos al mercado para realizar unas pequeñas compras y luego dirigirnos a casa.
To my surprise, our little dog Frida had found a chick that apparently fell from a nest and my son was holding it in his hands without knowing where to put it.
Para mi sorpresa, nuestra perrita Frida había encontrado un pichón que al parecer cayó de un nido y mi hijo lo tenía en las manos sin saber dónde colocarlo.
Until it occurred to us to put him in the tree house, which at that moment was not occupied by any other bird. While we checked well, we put him in the cage of the newly hatched chicks.
When the tree house was ready we put him in it and he was very comfortable. My husband says that it seems to be a chulingo or mockingbird chick.
The truth is that we were perplexed to see that there was an adult bird that was just watching us and it turned out to be the father or mother of the chick because it flew to the house and fed it.
It was a very nice experience.
Hasta que se nos ocurrió ponerlo en la casita del árbol que en esos momentos no estaba ocupada por más ni por otra ave. Mientras revisamos bien, lo colocamos en la jaula de los pollitos recién nacidos.
Cuando la casita estuvo lista lo pusimos en ella y quedó bien cómodo. Dice mi esposo que al parecer es un pichón de chulingo o sinsonte.
La verdad es que quedamos perplejos al ver que había un ave adulta que solo nos observaba y resultó ser el padre o la madre del pichón pues voló a la casita y lo alimentó.
Fue una experiencia muy bonita.
