This is what it looks like on Palm Sunday 2024 here in Antipolo Cathedral also known as Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage the famous Catholic Church in Antipolo City. Every year plenty of Catholic devotees buy a handmade palm or "Palaspas" in Tagalog words and then they go to church to attend a Palm Sunday Mass. Every end of the 60-minute mass they had a designated spot for the people who wanted to bless their palm or palaspas some members of the church blessed the palaspas with the Holy Water. Just like what I captured last Palm Sunday.
While heading to the church I saw a lady on the sidewalk selling palaspas each of the palaspas was 20 Pesos equivalent to 0.36 US Dollars. You can choose what kind of design or colors you want to buy.
A lady wearing red clothes headed to the church brought a palaspas.
Crowded of catholic devoters outside of the church and most of them had a palapas.
After the mass, we headed to Sumulong Park but we used to call that place "Plaza" a few steps from the church. The park is so colorful at night that a lot of visitors and locals gather inside the park to rest and watch those colorful lights shaped like Jellyfish.
