The Eve Festival Parade Of Immaculate Conception
Every year of December 7-8 the four Barangays in Antipolo City, Philippines celebrate the festival of the Blessed Virgin Immaculate Conception. The Barangay Dela Paz our Barangay is one of the participants in the parade. Most of the Antipolenyo are very happy because the annual festival parade of the Barangay Dela Paz is officially back. I knew there was a parade today so I decided to walk outside to watch the parade and of course to take some photographs of the parade.
This eve festival parade is happened today it's so much colorful and really fun to watch. The "Higantes" or giants are on the parade each higantes has a name I don't know what are they name but I saw a giant Santa Claus. The parade of the "Higantes" started on December 1 they went and danced in every street of Barangay Delapaz the Higantes parade ended today December 7.
These amazing drums and lyre of Barangay Dela Paz blasting and performing in P. Oliveros Street. Delapaz National High School represents those drummers and lyres they are really good and so much fun to watch.
The red and blue ladies wear a costume like an officer and hold flag colors red, white, and blue.
These ladies and gentlemen wear a color blue band shirt is represented by the Las Piñas Band they are super loud and synchronized.
The most famous character loved by kids is Jollibee and Friends they are character in the famous fast food chain here in the Philippines the "Jollibee". I think they are always present in every parade here in Antipolo City kids love them because they give toys.
