Today I have a double walk to share. Same place, morning and evening, a whole different feeling.
I started with the photographic highlight of the day. The spring, the center of our village's life. It is amazing how many people came to fill up their bottles while I was there trying to take this picture. It is the main meeting point where you can learn all the news :)
And why did I spent all this time there trying to take this picture? The idea came by the Qurator's Photo Quest by @qurator, where the theme of this week is High Motion.
I live in a quiet village characterized by its slow rhythm, so where am I supposed to find high motion? I was thinking of cars, lights, big cities. Running water is the only non-stop moving theme here and I find it quite inspiring. Someone had thrown a carnation in and it kept moving around by the move of the water, it's the pink shadow in the left corner.
Not a single sign of wind today, while tomorrow we are waiting for massive southern winds that will bring Sahara sand as well. Well, the air feels clear, but the atmosphere is quite unclear when you look further away. Some sand has already come.
In the following days, if the forecast is right, the sky will turn almost red and any photograph will look like sepia.
For now, a bit blurry but still blue. Although you can't really say where the sea ends and the sky starts.
This is one more walk with Markos, my loyal companion.
While this is a walk that we do almost every day, every time is slightly different. For example this wild pear tree didn't have all these flowers blooming everywhere the previous days. I think this is the pick of its glory!
Daisies (again!) and unknown tiny cute flowers.
Returned home and spent the whole day painting the kitchen in a vibrant blue color. When I am tired I like to take a short relaxing walk with Markos, so we started walking again.
Just before it gets dark, there is no sigh of sunset colors, just blue. Amazing blue.
Looking at Mochlos village from above. The sea is still, nothing is moving.
Here comes the spring and some gossip with the old ladies that want to learn everything, and they are so cute that I confess it all :)
The area around just before darkness covers the mountains and the nearby village of Tourloti.
A full day comes to an end. Pretty tired, but couldn't miss my #wednesdaywalk addiction for the wonderful challenge by @tattoodjay.
Happy walk everyone!
