Since this is my last payday at the company where I worked as a technical agent, I took this moment to enjoy some moments with my partner. For those who don't know, I published my blog on why I temporarily disappeared from blogging and also the reason why I came back. Going back to our topic, my Tuesday was a good day because the weather in our area was good, which is why I suddenly asked my beloved partner on a date. I came from the office that day and since it was payday, I asked my partner to eat outside.
While walking on my way to the meet up place, I saw a Taho vendor. And since that was my last Taho at the workplace, I asked the vendor if he could add more pearls in my special Taho. And yes, he just did! Yummy!
And because we wanted to meet halfway, I just asked if I could go straight here in Makati, Ayala Circuit, just one ride away from my office.
At that time, it was 9 in the morning and Malls were not yet open. Good thing that Circuit is an open area where I can hang out in some parts of the Mall.
While I was waiting for my partner, I first enjoyed the greenfield alone where I sat for a while while observing the buildings of Makati, City. In truth, I think there are many problems but I remind myself more that I am still one of God's blessed ones because here I am, still given a job even as a student and given a chance to save for college.
Life here in the metro is so hard. Sometimes I wonder why other people from the province insist on coming here for work. In fact, life is better in the province because you don't have to spend a lot to live. Here in Manila, everything is very expensive and you are required to spend money every time you will do something and whenever you go out. Anyways, my partner and I have already discussed that once we settle down, we will still try to have a house in the province. I just hope that by that time the government administration will be fair and many schools and hospitals will be built in the provinces.
Okay, after a few minutes of waiting, Hubby came and we decided to look for something to eat. Our first choice is Morugame Udon but since the store has just opened and the crew is still setting up, we decided to go to S&R in Ayala Mall first.
It's a good thing that Hubby brought his membership card so we were able to enter, but because we wanted to save money, we avoided buying anything inside S&R. And just proceeded to the Food Court, where we bought this savory fries and Pepsi drink first. The fries are really rich in flavor and the price is good enough to feed two people.
After finishing the appetizer, we immediately rushed to Morugame Udon for our main event. We ordered Katsudon and Gyudon for our lunch. Each super meal costs only $2.95-$4.13 which is not bad at all because they will serve you a huge bowl full of Japanese rice and your chosen dish.
I am so happy that day because I was able to treat my Hubby after all the romantic dates he also gave me. For me, it's time to pay back to him. I wish that our dates would continue with me being the one who would treat him as well because I want us to spoil each other if we are able to, for better and for worst.
Anyways, this is my beautiful walk-story for this week. I hope that everyone of you is enjoying life, even if there are moments when it seems like it's hard to live. 🙏❤️
