Hello Wednesday walkers.
I am glad to share with you my weekly story with photographs for the #wednesdaywalk challenge hosted by @tattoodjay.
In the last week of March, which coincided with the end of the winter and (hopefully last) low temperatures, I did a wonderful photo walk with a friend of mine. We decided to visit the protected area "Golden Field", which is near the town where I live.
This wonderful natural landmark is located on the left bank of the Maritsa River, South-East Bulgaria, near the village of Zlato Pole. It is a wetland and consists of ponds fed by water from the river.
Dozens of bird and plant species live here under protection, allowing their population to grow.
Here we met a shepherd and his goats. Interestingly, when we started taking pictures he came up to us and asked us worried why we were taking pictures of his goats :) He explained to us that no one had ever photographed him and was worried about what our intentions were.
This is my favorite photo from our walk. Now that I see the beautiful reflection of the trees I want to visit this place again.
Wheat will soon be sprouting here, and farmworkers are already here preparing the new crop. I couldn't resist taking a picture of this beautiful tractor.
In this photo, you can see the frozen surface of the pond.
With a lot of effort, as I was not carrying a tripod, I managed to photograph these birds that are looking forward to the spring. The water is still quite cold, which can be seen in their frostbitten bodies.
The shepherd with the goats went back the same way. Probably he became interested in what we were doing here and watched us for quite a long time.
It was a cold but beautiful winter day. Looking forward to spring and higher temperatures to enjoy our hobby again. Because only those who have shot for more than 2-3 hours in а cold weather know how their fingers feel afterwards :)
Thank you for stopping by and taking a few minutes to read my post.
I hope you enjoyed today's photo walk with me and my camera.
Stay safe and never stop exploring the world around you.
Yours,
George
The truest art is what we create from the bottom of our hearts. According to the norms of society, some of us are born with the talent to create art and some of us aren't. I completely disagree with this comprehension.
I believe every human being has her/his own unique way of expression and it is not necessary to be born with the talent of a poet, writer, painter, or composer. Each of us could express hers/his view of the world in words and pictures. And if you can't paint, dance, or sing, just describe your feelings, memories, and dreams in your own words and color them with pictures you have taken yourself.
This is the unique advantage of Hive over all social platforms.
Here, you don't have to pose as who society expects you to be. On Hive you can be yourself with all your disadvantages and no one will judge you for not following the "standard". Because on Hive there are as many "standards" as the number of the members of this blockchain society.
