Hello, how are you? Kumusta? Its been a while since my last post due to a conflicting and hectic schedule at work. Since today i'm free, i will be sharing with you my Wednesday activity.

Clear Sky and Beautiful Viewzam.jpg

Summer class, work and personal life and problems has been my daily dose of exercise in this month of July. I can really say that i'm on the verge of having a burn out. It might be because of my lifestyle that causes this burnout.

Working too much, without enough time for socializing or relaxing in my day to day basis. In addition, taking on too many responsibilities could add to stress. Being burned out means i felt empty and mentally exhausted sometimes, devoid of motivation, and beyond caring.

Walking on the Top of the Hill

That's why i decided to go somewhere to ease what i'm feeling. I've read somewhere that going to new places will really help you feel better. I wanted to reconnect to nature that's why i decided to take a walk going to the top of the hill.

The hill is not that far from where my boarding house is located. Being with nature, or even viewing scenes of nature, reduces anger, fear, and stress and increases pleasant feelings for sure . Exposure to nature not only makes us feel better emotionally, it contributes to our physical wellbeing.

It was 4pm in the afternoon today when i decided to take a walk, and since some of my closest friend decided they wanna unwind too. So we decided to go together. While walking, we enjoy talking to each other while appreciating the surroundings. We are surrounded by a natural green trees and plants , but also a social environment, which affects not only our performance, but also our state of mind, right?.

The air while walking was just so fresh that i could really sense my body being alive again. Our environment like the fresh air we breath have a modest effect on our state of mind but when this is maintained and accumulated over time, it can become quite important.

After almost 15 minutes of walking, we finally found a perfect spot to relax and just contemplate about life. The view was just breath taking. I could really sea the clear blue sky and down below was the vast sea smiling towards us. It was a perfect day, there was no rain and the wind was just blowing towards us. This fresh air not only cleans our lungs, it can also boost our mood, lower our heart rate and most importantly increase energy levels.

After taking pictures, we decided to sit back and relax and just feel the moment.Being in the outdoors walking surely a have relaxing effects on our minds. Nature can provide a mental break by allowing us to temporarily escape the demands of everyday life. We were just talking about our future plans and reminiscing our fun and sad memories as friends. Nature surely help decrease my anxiety levels i felt this past few days and can help lessen stress and feelings of anger. Exercise like walking outside can also help this, but it's even better when you're outside.

Regular access to green spaces and with mother nature has been linked to lower risks of depression and improved concentration and attention. The moment i spend time among the trees, the flowers and the bird chirping and singing , hearing twigs snap beneath my feet and butterflies calling out to each other from above, it does something to my brain. Walking in nature is refreshing and reinvigorating in ways that other exercise and leisure activities just aren’t.

It was just a short 1 our stay at the top of the hill yet i felt so recharge and boost at that moment. Walking in nature is a great way to make these minutes feel more enjoyable rather than tiring. When you are in a green nature which is beautiful, natural setting, a walk seems a lot less like “exercise” and more like an fun hobby that you want to do again.

A little added sugar a day isn't bad for you espcially after that long walk. Its a much needed self care and of course the cravings wer clearly satisfied.

You know what they says,"There is nothing better in life than good food and good company", right? We were just so happy and energetic to talk about anything in life.Time spent outside also is linked to better health physically and mentally.Positive social interactions with thmy friends are imperative for my overall health and wellness. In fact, the quality of our relationships often correlate with the longevity of our lives.

My Takeway during that Wednesday Walk

  • Emotional self-awareness is Essential

During that short walk, i have realized the importance of knowing our own emotions. Knowing our own emotions is a crucial life skill because it allows you to control and navigate the dominant aspect of your consciousness. when you feel stress, burn out or empty, it is essential to seek for help or to reconnect with physical activityies like walking with nature. Let us remember that when you're emotionally unstable, you cannot make good decisions and rationalized things.. Your relationships suffer, and you have difficulty understanding others.

Knowing our own emotions helps us handle emotions, connect with people, make goodlife decision and choices, and stay calm when life gets complicated. Let is all remember that fife is all about emotions and how we handle them that best possible way. And our emotional intelligence is what helps you read and understand all the emotional data you're receiving and sending.

So when you feel tired and empty, do not hesitate to ask for help and guidance and look for something that could motivate you. Motivation is our inner cheerleader and driving force. It gets you out of bed in the morning and keeps you going, even when things are tough.

Our feelings are valid but let us also be mindful and be responsible for what we do and how we feel. If we make a mistake, admit it. If we're feeling down, acknowledge it. Lastly, connect with what we’re actually feeling and practice it.

It has been a fun and productive Wednesday afternoon, I hope you all enjoy your day today. Share with me what are the things and activity you are proud of accomplishing today?

Until next time,

Sincerly,
Zam
