Greetings to all the walkers here in this beautiful community, I really had days that I did not walk any day of the week, but since my daughter is on vacation, I go out when it is necessary to do so, the rest I like to stay in the quiet and coolness of my house, because outside these days has been a very hot sun.
Coincidentally last Wednesday my son had a birthday and we decided to leave the house, as part of his birthday, we went to the Paseo Orinoco, as it is celebrating the Orinoco Fair, in which many people go, it is a fair that is already a tradition.
Our walk began passing in front of the beautiful Cathedral of the city, then the Plaza Bolivar, but just in passing, as I was walking with my son, he is autistic because of his condition among its characteristics is that if I said we were going to the walk was for there and not for the cathedral, besides that it was closed, so it will be another day to pass.
Arriving at the malecon, where you could appreciate the beauty of our father river the Orinoco River, you could also see the influx of people, who come to see the fair, buy the Bocachico fish, which is more abundant at this time, along with the Sapoara, but this is less abundant.
You can see the fishermen in the boats in the river as in the malecon, throwing the lines and then take them out and see how many fish they could catch, others do it with their naylon threads that they throw with hooks and baits, trying their luck that the river will give them a fish to catch.
Then we continue walking, until we reach the Mirador which is the central place of the Orinoco promenade, where in the evenings there are various musical events, this is the great churuata or similar where the artisans are with their crafts, selling and exhibiting what they do.
From time to time you have to refresh yourself with a chicha to continue the walk, this year the fair was made by the people so to speak, because in previous years the mayor's office did a lot of promotion to elect the queen and everything, but this year there was no queen, but that is not so essential they will say, the fair is yes and it is tradition to be celebrated.
And we arrived at the end of this walk, which I love, it is good to come early in the morning when the sun is not so strong, or in the afternoon to see the beautiful sunset which is a natural wonder.
