Hello all dear friends and welcome back to my blog, lately I haven't uploaded any drawing and that's because I've been under a lot of stress and that has made me unable to draw often, it's what they call "mental block", I imagine It happens to many of you whether you are artists or not, in any area of life you can experience a "mental block", after leaving the frustration behind I decided to rest a few days and focus on other projects and I think it turned out well.
In addition to resting I was seeing a lot of the art style dedicated to the skin or as it is better known "tattoo", although I admit that I am not a fan nor do I think I will ever get one, even so, I admit that it is needed a high level of skill required to craft it, even more so when you only get one chance. So for this occasion I decided to make an illustration based on a tattoo on a woman, I hope you like it.
Hola a todos queridos amigos y bienvenidos de nuevo a mi blog, últimamente no he subido ningún dibujo y eso se debe a que eh estado con mucho estrés y eso me ha hecho no poder dibujar seguido, es lo que llaman "bloqueo mental", imagino a que muchos de ustedes les pasa ya sean artistas o no, en cualquier ámbito de la vida se puede experimentar un "bloqueo mental", luego de dejar la frustración decidí descansar unos días y centrarme en otros proyectos y creo que un resulto bien.
Además de descansar estuve viendo mucho el estilo de arte dedicado a la piel o como se le conoce mejor el "tatuaje", aunque eh de admitir que no soy un fanático ni creo que me haga uno alguna vez, aun así, admito que se necesita un alto nivel de habilidad requerida para elaborarlo, más aún cuando solo se tiene una oportunidad. Así que para esta ocasión decidí hacer una ilustración basada en un tatuaje en una mujer espero les guste.
PROCESO - PROCESS
I started my path for this illustration with a simple sketch to give my character the most realistic possible shape, with a circle as the base of the skull and a cross that allows me to detail the face, from there I determine the height and shape of the nose, as well as the mouth and chin.
Empecé mi camino para esta ilustración con un boceto sencillo para dar forma lo más realista posible a mi personaje, con un circulo como base del cráneo y una cruz que me permita detallar el rostro, desde hay determino la altura y forma de nariz, así como la boca y el mentón.
Having already detailed the face, I continue to add more details starting with the hair, which for this occasion I decided on a short and disheveled look that gives more volume.
Ya habiendo detallado el rostro prosigo a agregar más detalles empezando por el cabello, que para esta ocasión me decidí por un aspecto de estilo corto y despeinado que da mayor volumen.
At this point, already satisfied with the detail of the face in general, I focus on capturing the tattoo that I have been drawing in my mind, a "snake" that will give a dramatic touch to the illustration, I start by drawing the outline of the snake and then give more detail .
En este punto ya conforme con el detallado del rostro en general me enfoco en plasmar el tatuaje que eh dibujando en mi mente, una "serpiente" que dará un toque dramático a la ilustración, empiezo dibujando el contorno de la serpiente para luego dar más detalle.
Now I must confess that I thought it would be easier to draw a snake, but it really took me a long time to detail each and every one of the scales, a lot of time, but not in vain the result is really fantastic.
Ahora debo confesar que pense que sería más sencillo dibujar una serpiente, pero me llevo realmente mucho tiempo detallar todas y cada una de las escamas, mucho tiempo, pero no en vano el resultado es realmente fantástico.
With the sketch already finished, I can finally proceed to give color to the illustration and for this I start by applying various shades of red to the face, as well as a little yellow to generate a little contrast, I also incorporate the colors of the costumes trying to make their nuances it does not overshadow the rest of the illustration.
Con el boceto ya finalizado por fin puedo proceder a dar color a la ilustración y para esto empiezo aplicando varias tonalidades de rojo al rostro, así como un poco de amarillo para generar un poco de contraste, además incorporo los colores del vestuario intentado que sus matices no opaquen al resto de la ilustración.
In this step I put my attention on giving life to the snake, for this I thought of applying a reddish hue and also incorporated a touch of gold to highlight the scales.
En este paso pongo mi atención en dar vida a la serpiente, para ello pensé en aplicarle una tonalidad rojiza y además incorporé un toque de dorado para resaltar las escamas.
Finally apply several layers of lights and shadows, also create a multicolored background that will combine with the rest of the illustration.
Por ultimo aplique varias capas de luces y sombras, además cree un fondo multicolor que combinara con el resto de la ilustración.
