Hello, art enthusiasts! Hope you're all doing well! I'm excited to share my latest coffee artwork with you! I hope this message finds you in good spirits. Take a moment to look at it and share your thoughts!
The deepwood called to me with an undeniable allure, its rustling leaves and whispering branches demanding my attention. Today, I answered that call head-on, venturing deep into the forest, where sunlight fought to pierce the dense canopy.
The air was cool and damp, saturated with the scent of pine and rich earth. Sunlight broke through the leaves in striking patterns, casting an ethereal glow on the forest floor. The silence was profound, interrupted only by the occasional chirp of a bird or the rustle of unseen creatures.
This journey was not just about exploring the physical landscape; it was a powerful self-discovery. The deepwood commanded respect—a deep reverence for the creator. In this space, worries dissipated, and the stresses of daily life melted away.
As I emerged from the deepwood, I felt invigorated, renewed, and at peace. This experience reaffirmed the profound power of nature to heal and restore us, showcasing the beauty and mystery that lie within the heart of the forest. If you’re in search of solace and rejuvenation, I insist you find your own deepwood and let its magic transform you.
I used three types of painting brushes for this piece and it took me an hour to finish it. For those who are interested in trying this unique medium, you can follow the basic methods below.
Materials Needed:
👉 Watercolor Paper or sketching Paper
👉 Pencil and Eraser
👉 Coffee Powder
👉 2 small cups ( lighter and darker shades)
👉 Ruler
👉 Clean Water
👉 Rag
👉 Paper napkin or paper towel
Brushes:
👉 Flat Brush /small #10, 10/32 / 8.0mm
👉 Liner Brush #2 / 2/32" / 1.6mm
👉 Filbert brush
Note: Keep all the materials ready before you start painting.
Basic Procedure:
• Outline or sketch your painting reference.
• Paint using a lighter shade of the background by creating a beautiful texture.
• On the middle ground, paint the first layer of the subject.
• The same procedure with the foreground.
• Once the first layer is completely dry, you can proceed to paint with a darker shade of coffee.
• Then add details to come alive of your painting. I used a liner brush for the thin details.
Take note: In putting details, you cannot have sharp lines and shapes unless it is completely dry.
