My little ones, today I share with you this NFT that I made in one day. As you know, and if you don't know, I am a fan of skulls. I love to see pictures, illustrations, and skull masks. On Pinterest, I have a folder dedicated to different types of skulls. A whole source of inspiration Pinterest.

And well, this time, what I did was to take that skull inspiration and combine it with some photos I took recently when we went to visit Eddie's grandma, who, by the way, is doing great at 95+ years old. Every time I see these photos, I remember something funny that happened. Here is the story:

Eddie's grandmother speaks English most of the time, and although she understands Spanish, everyone speaks to her in English to make it easier and more comfortable for her. When we went to visit her, there was a large arrangement of flowers on the living room table that one of her granddaughters had sent her for Mother's Day, and I was very curious to see them.

I loved the colors and the variety of flowers (I am not a fan of flowers, in fact, it is one of the things I have the hardest time drawing), especially the sunflowers, and I was tempted to touch the center one.

I was touching it, and I was telling her that they were very pretty, that they smelled good, that I loved the colors, and she was saying something that I didn't understand until my mother-in-law told me, "she says that flowers are not to be touched".

And I... UPS!!! Hahaha ... And me as a temptress. It makes me laugh remembering it, and well, she didn't get mad or anything, but I felt embarrassed. I liked the flowers so much that I took several pictures of them.

This illustration is a combination of things I like, things that make me feel good, and an anecdote that now brings a smile to my face every time I remember it. I wish you a beautiful day full of color-like flowers.

Mis pequeños, el día de hoy les comparto este NFT que hice en un día. Cómo saben y si no lo saben les cuento, yo soy fan de los cráneos, me encanta ver fotos, ilustraciones y máscaras de cráneos. En Pinterest tengo una carpeta dedicada a diferentes tipos de cráneos. Toda una fuente de inspiración Pinterest.

Y bueno, esta vez lo que hice fue tomar esa inspiración de los cráneos y combinarla con unas fotos que tome hace poco que fuimos a visitar a la abuelita de Eddie, la cual por cierto se encuentra muy bien a sus más de 95 años. Cada que vea estas fotos recordaré algo gracioso que pasó, aquí les va la anécdota:

La abuelita de Eddie la mayor parte del tiempo habla inglés y aunque entiende el español, todos le hablan en inglés para que sea más fácil y cómodo para ella. Cuando la fuimos a visitar había un gran arreglo de flores en la mesa de la sala que le había enviado una de sus nietas por el día de las madres y me dio mucha curiosidad acercarme a verlas.

Me encantaron los colores y la variedad de flores que tenía (yo no soy fan de las flores, de hecho es se las cosas que más me cuesta dibujar) en especial mi atención estaba en los girasoles y me dio tentación tocar el centro.

Lo estaba tocando y le decía que estaban muy bonitas, que olían rico, que me encantaban los colores y ella decía algo que yo no entendía, hasta que mi suegra me dijo, “dice que las flores no se tocan”.

Y yo... UPS!!! Jajaja ... Y yo de tentona. Me da risa recordarlo y bueno, no se enojó ni nada, pero si me dió pena. Tanto me gustaron las flores que les tome varias fotos.

Esta ilustración es una combinación de cosas que me gustan, me hacen sentir bien y de una anécdota que ahora me saca una sonrisa cada que la recuerdo. Les deseo un hermoso día lleno de color como las flores.
