Good day everyone,welcome to my post today,let me quickly journey you through my new artwork,this is a portrait I did recently with pen, before starting this work,I'd done so many sketches on how to be creative with the work as I normally play with lines,shape and colour, JUXTAPOSE in most cases.
I finally arrived at this with just a skeletal Idea,I started and it was looking so real but my idea on every work isn't to imitate reality but to be creative,the only reason I make realistic work is to show effort and show I can but I must still infuse my own idea of how I want it to be, raw in most cases,I love natural,I love irregularities and unusuality but I make sure they all blend in with colour,shapes and line
When creating my piece I make sure I choose my colours wisely,some colours can make your work sink,I mean the background,so I just give a deeper colour to the real work and give it a lighter background,I make it clean as much as I can that it doesn't shout too much,negate each other, one thing is to draw,another thing is to be good at composing.
so when I finished this,I gave it some days rest to take my eyes totally off it and by the time I come back,it's fresh on my mind and I can easily spot mistakes or know few things to add,lo and behold,I added few things and it came out well, what's your say,all kinds of reviews,criticism are welcome
