Hello Everyone
How are you all?
I hope you all are doing well and leading a sound life. Today, I bring you another one of my digital drawings. These are the fan art drawings of cards from the game named SPLINTERLANDS. The character that I'll be drawing today is called Time Mage. This specific work cost me a lot of time and effort and I hope you're going to like it.
I drew this one using my laptop, graphics tablet, stylus graphics touch pen, and iBis Paint software. And I'm posting this one to submit my participation in the weekly art contest arranged by Splinterlands. I'll put both my final work and the original image below so that you can easily judge and analyze my work.

Now let's talk about my work process step by step. I'll be explaining every single step from creating the body figure to giving the final finishing touch. So, stay with me and lets walk through the process.
- So, my first step was to fix her body position and draw the basic structure of her body first. This step took me a lot of time to align her body parts. This was a unique pose for me and a complicated one too. I needed to re-draw this many times just to align one body part with another and it was looking kind of abnormal otherwise.
- After that part, now it was time to add the background frame of the watch I added behind her. I began with the circle and basic details to it first and also drew the hair on her head in this step.
- Now that I'mm done with the basic work, it was time to add the details to the structure image and bring out the main idea. I started with drawing her dress and then the gloves and bracelates on hger hand. Then I added the details on the watch too. After adding those details, now we have the visualization of what the final drawing it going to be.
Now begains the interesting part. It's true that coloring is no-less complicated that drawing the structure or adding the details to a drawing. But, I personally love doing this part and that's why I never get bored doing it or it doesn't bother me no matter how hard the part is.
So. I started with putting the basic color shades on the watch and her skin tone and then added the detailing parts. Like, her dress details and hair color etc.
- Now that I've added all the basic colors. It was time to put the final colors and touch to the parts. And I started with her skin tone first. I completed the facial part of her in the beganing. As you can see, I did in a few parts. I added four layers of colors on her face to bring out the shady and glowing parts including the details that can give it a realistic look. Then I started to work on her whole skin tone and I followed the same process there too.
- Now it's time to work on her dress colors and her hairs. I used some mixed colors on her dress and used the multi color layers on her hairs. I also did some colores enhanching and addeed some deep colores to make the curves and shades more visible in this step.
- After finishing the main character drawing, I focused on drawing the backgroung. Though, it looks like the watch is a part of the main drawing, I'm considering as a background elemant matching with her character and name. I first of all added the basic background colors that need to add and then started to add the layers and shades to bring out the actual image I want with the details. I had to add a several colors in the glowing parts to make it look like it's actually glowing which includes theblue parts on the watch.

And after a few more re-touch, I was able to get the final result I wanted.
