Inktober Drawing Challenge: Day 4 - Scallop

in #hive-1565092 years ago

Hi all, greetings.

Here is my entry for the inktober drawing challenge with the theme 'Scallop". Here, I drew a broken scallop with an eye piping through that broken space.

Well, I was thinking of adding something creative to the scallop then the thought of an piercing through the broken part manifested. It's like an eye full of fear and suspense that saw something strange.

I also added a background to it. I made it have a negative space where the left side is filled with shades while the opposite side has light.

The piece was done with AutoDesk sketchbook application using scribble style and aided with an S-pen. I found my reference photo here. Below are my step-by-step processes:

Wow, so beautiful ink drawing!!!

Thank you dear. I'm glad you like it.

Manually curated by ackhoo from the @qurator Team. Keep up the good work!

Thanks a lot. Really appreciate👍

Friend @maxwellmarcusart here in Venezuela and in my land Cumaná in the state of Sucre, facing the Caribbean Sea, Scallops are sea pectinids, known in fact by their common name as scallops, they are a family of bivalve molluscs, closely related to clams and oysters, we eat them a lot. Excellent drawing and idea, it immediately moved me to my Caribbean Sea. Successes

I rarely find that over here but I think there are some of them like the oysters. I am not used to visiting the sea anyway but we do have one we eat frequently which is periwinkle.
Thanks for appreciating the work. I am glad you like it.

All eatable marine species are to my greatest liking, I live in front of the Caribbean Sea. Successes

Hehe, that's good to know.
Cheers...
