There is a painting I am currently working on. It's been 2 weeks of intensive work and I hope to finish it this week. It is an oil color painting where the brand I am using is Winsor and Newton.
I still have more work to do which ranges from her headgear, neck, to shirt as well as the background before I could proceed to frame it.
At first, I was skeptical about the outcome of her face after I did the underpainting. Someone suggested I should leave it that way but heck, that's not my kind of art. I love delivering a good and professional job.
So I proceeded in laying another color which are her original color and texture. At that point, I was satisfied with how it turned out cause the face is the main work. I can now joyfully run other tasks with no doubt attached.

By the way, the board looks somewhat bending due to the stretcher I used. However, while coupling and framing it, I will correct that with the board I will use.
