Hello there, guys! What do you think we have here? A logo design contest is one of my areas of expertise. In fact, graphic design was one of the skills I learned in secondary school. That's the end of the narrative. Just like any other day for me, I was engaging with other users on the chain, going to different niches to engage and interact with people when I stumbled onto this contest, which was reblogged by @khaleesii, and I checked it out. After that, I scrolled down to @ragnarok.game first ever post and realized it's a new project on Hive, a blockchain game that has yet to be launched. I quickly envision it having a great project based on the quantity of comments I encountered. Hundreds of users anticipating the lunch, the blockchain gamers and investors 😎.
I navigated back to the Ragnarok logo contes page and realized that the today is the deadline for entries.
Confused on what to do, I quickly rushed down to my friend's house since he has a laptop that I can use for the design. Since I discovered the contest a bit late and I have limited amount of time. Nonetheless, I made the decision to create something unique. Because the game is about gods and titans, akin to the film series Ragnarok, I chose to make the logo look like a godly just like the film series itself..
Let's go over the steps one by one, shall we?
Step 1:
Firstly I created a new photoshop document.
Step 2:
Second I imported a background I got online. A dark image with smoke texture.
Step 3:
Thirdly, I typed the "presented by hive" and used a readable font. I placed it at the buttom center of the page.
Step 4:
Fourthly I wrote the ragnarok text and gave it a cream colour so it comes out very bold in the background.
Step 5:
Lastly I added a fire effect to make the "RAGNAROK" illustrated the ragnarok meaning. After which I added a shadow to the text and this brings out the godly version of Ragnarok 😁.
Then I finally export the file and save it has a new document, I then download it and transferred it to my mobile phone..
I just need to get this design done quickly because I only have a limited amount of time and don't have my own personal laptop to work on, so I'll have to borrow one from a friend. But I'm delighted I took part in this fantastic contest; like many other Hiveans who care about the platform and want to see it grow, I'm looking forward to the game's release. I came across an article about the game airdrops and NFTs, I don’t quite understand it but I'll definitely make my own research and look into it. I believe the post is becoming too long, so I'll end it here 😎
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and may God bless you all.
