Hello, Hive friends and art lovers in the #OnChainArt community. In today's post, I would like to share my painting of the Sumatran Orangutan. I created this painting to remind us of the uniqueness and beauty of this species. Unfortunately, the Sumatran orangutan is one of the most endangered species in the world.
The Sumatran orangutan's natural habitat, the tropical rainforests of Sumatra, is decreasing due to deforestation and forest encroachment for human use. In addition, the illegal trade of orangutans and poaching are also serious threats to this species. Sumatran orangutans are highly intelligent animals and possess extraordinary abilities, such as using tools and communicating with sign language. However, the uniqueness and beauty of this species are increasingly threatened by human activities that destroy their habitat.
I painted this orangutan using a 30x40 Cm canvas, using oil paint. Below are my steps in creating the orangutan painting;

From this orangutan painting that I created and shared, I hope that together we can protect the orangutan species and its natural habitat. We can do small things such as reducing the use of paper and wood, choosing environmentally friendly products, and supporting organizations that are engaged in the conservation of forests and wild species. We all have a responsibility to keep this species alive and preserve the natural beauty of the world. Thank you for reading this article and let us work together to protect the orangutan species. Greetings.
