An happy Sunday to you all!
After a lot of sunny (and unusually hot) days, today here the sky is full of dark clouds and maybe later it will rain. The plants all around really need water from the sky and this is the first time in my (long) life I'm still wearing summer clothes in October. The weather is the main topic of conversation now in my area (Tuscany, in Italy) because in normal time this is the time of the year to search porcini mushrooms in the forest, to collect chestnuts, to wear short with long sleeves and to see the tuscan landscapes while they are changing their colors.
We can't do anything about the weather, just wait and see.
Well, I have to stop me to think about this unusual weather and to come back to my art.
Today I'm here to show you my recent tiny paintings:
As you can see, the subjects are tiny (fat) birds in my own illustrative style. I painted my usual birds with little leaves on the body in a tiny size because I think they could be a very nice decoration in a group of different little birds.
They are oil paintings on 200 gsm paper in A6 size and, like I use to do, I also took some pics while I was painted one of them (the blue one) :
