Hello! Triz here! How are you?
The internet and electricity have not left me alone hahahah. But hey, I'm here. Today I want to show you this portrait that I finished a few days ago but I couldn't publish it before because of the same internet thing, the light and other occupations.
This is the second portrait that I do with the purpose of drawing in a different way, at least for my personal things. Who is the girl in the portrait? A great friend, from the beautiful @gvand, I can say that this is very special! Since it's from a great girl, a person I love very much and she knows it 😉! she's funny, beautiful, cute, talented and soooooooooooo crazy she's amazing!! We met here at Hive years ago and have been in touch ever since! She is a great company, I think I have already mentioned it before that she is a tattoo artist, very good by the way!
I wanted to do this portrait for a long time I had the photo saved on my phone then I thought I had lost it on the laptop but it was good that I had saved the file in one of the folders of drawings to be done. I think it was on Sunday that I found the format and decided to do it for my practice, so I did two things at once, practice and finish the portrait.
I did it with a lot of love, although I couldn't capture all your beauty, I'm very happy with the result and from what she told me she also liked the result and that made me veryyyyyyyyyyyyyy happyyyyyyyyyy!
Now if I will show you how the process of this was.
I was using different brushes in the sketch, although my base was a bit messy but it was good to start, since later I was going to give more shape to everything. The good thing is that this step by step was not like the last drawing I did, which was strange since they were all different 😋.
The next thing was to place the features of the girl, it already had more shape than the previous step. This point was one of my favorites of the drawing although later I lost it, I liked how the different strokes I made with the brushes looked, those lines that are around I made them accidentally since I was trying to rotate to draw but I liked them and I left them but they were also lost.
In this step everything I had achieved went to the ground, since I unconsciously ruined everything by my silly habit of fixing things. I was using a brush that wasn't that hard and I was just mixing the colors and although that wouldn't be bad for another piece, it wasn't what I'm looking for in this one.
It was time for the background, I had fun making so many circles that I interspersed one on top of the other, I used the finger tool, I really like using it because it leaves a decent finish in my opinion, but it can be very destructive, you have to use it sparingly .
In this step I was trying to take back what I was looking for and get rid of what I had before, so I used different brushes.
I made this little Gif I sent it to @gvand and she made me laugh with her reaction, she's soooooooooooooooooooo funny😍
Final Result
After adding the glasses and doing some missing details, she was already looking the way I wanted, and her skin was not as smooth as it had been before, I put some colors. The lips as in the previous portrait took me a little time, but I think that in the end I managed to make them look like the original. The background was the same but I just duplicated it a few times and distorted it.
