As always in a typical match, I am just planning one or two steps ahead, which isn’t a plan at all. I just try to rely making an intricate network of pieces that inter-support (?) each other, hopefully forming a relatively impenetrable lattice that the opponent cannot pierce. The bad thing about such a tactic is that once one point is pierced, the whole network may come undone, resulting in a cascading massacre. I have learned with past matches that even a heavily outnumbered player can still save the day, and if I could give one piece of advice to my opponent in this match, it is that sometimes, resigning is not the answer, and even if they have no queen and their opponent has one, they could still win. I need this advice myself; sometimes, such a tactic pays off.
