Hi guys, I'm here for my first review about anime in general. I couldn't start with an anime other than the biggest one, in terms of number of episodes and worldwide expression.
What prevents the vast majority from watching One Piece is the high number of episodes, which I won't deny that tends to discourage those looking to watch the anime from 0. The anime currently has over 1000 episodes and continues to grow absurdly around the world. Why then this growth? I can explain this fact by the biggest difference of Eiichiro Oda, the almost perfect character development and the incredible world construction of One Piece. I can say that among all the works I've seen, none comes close to One Piece in this regard, the vastness of this world and the different creatures, nations, seas and families show the infinite world of possibilities that can be created in this work. The only work I see in a world so big and full of possibilities is Game of Thrones, but the series doesn't have 10% of the development of this world that Oda managed to do and will continue to do.
Right at the beginning we are introduced to the main character, Luffy. Totally charismatic, the pirate always wears a straw hat on his head and is marked by his unique smile, in addition he is very determined and funny. As the anime goes on, we understand the main objective of the character: to become the King of Pirates, this objective is almost impossible and only occurred once in history by the greatest pirate in the world, Gol D. Roger. In this way, we can understand why the anime is so long, as the author seeks to develop the most of his story, his universe and the characters, the size of the work is totally justifiable, because a goal of this size to be finished in a few episodes would be the same than a failure narratively, as it demonstrates ease.
ONE PIECE WORLD BUILDING
This for me is the biggest difference of this great work. The planet of One Piece is made up of 4 major regions and the biggest and most dangerous sea that inhabits Earth. The regions are East Blue, West Blue, North Blue and South Blue, while the great sea is called the Grand Line and is divided into two halves, the second half being the most dangerous of all and commanded by 4 great emperors of the seas. I know it may seem confusing to you at the beginning, but I guarantee that during the course of the work you will catch everything and you will want more information about this totally complex world. The public will meet a wide range of pirates, sailors and even revolutionaries, all of whom are well-crafted and who will actively play a part in the story.
SOCIAL PART IN ONE PIECE
What makes this work so great for me is the large amount of important issues present in our daily lives, the author does not close his eyes to these problems and seeks to change the minds of all the people who accompany the story. We can use as an example the past of the swordsman Zoro, who works with the fact that his best friend is passed over and is discouraged by men who would have the argument that she could not become the greatest swordswoman in the world for simply being a woman, showing that machismo is an evil not only of this society, but of the fantasy world as well. The author's ability to work controversial themes into a simple ''pirate anime'' is sensational, and emphasizes why he is so acclaimed. In other sagas we can see the work and criticism of themes such as racism and homophobia and how harmful this is. The most surprising thing is the creative way the writer works with these themes and how much they affect those who are watching or reading them.
AMAZING CHARACTERS
Another differential of the title is the large amount of different and super interesting characters. The author knew how to work all the characters very well, and he tried to show that in all the arcs. The work is composed of surprising reflections and revelations about these characters and thanks to that it is impossible to stop watching, always wanting to know more about all the incredible characters. Everyone has layers, motivations and dreams, I like to mention Sanji, the crew's cook who carries with him a sad past and several layers of old traumas, these facts are worked on in the work and that's why it is different from all the others.
ANIME POLICY
I could not fail to mention the point that impresses me the most in this great work that is One Piece, which is the way they work and explore politics in their world. Because it's an anime, few people think that there can be a deepening of this theme, and so it's a surprise when they realize how much this theme is worked on. The indignation of the population, the tyranny of corrupt leaders, a world government that is involved in countless evil deeds and even a revolutionary movement that seeks the extinction of the state of the world, all this is worked on and well developed in One Piece, and so it is. as acclaimed by older people as it is with younger people, it's a sensational gathering of distinct elements in just one pirate anime.
After all these elements that I mentioned, I bet you must be curious about the anime, which also features thousands of instruments besides those that make the anime even better, and I hope you give it a chance, as I had to and I don't regret any of it. Olá pessoal, venho aqui no meu primeiro review sobre animes no geral. Não poderia começar por um anime diferente além do maior de todos, em número de episódios e em expressão mundial.
O que mais impede a grande maioria de assistir One Piece é o elevado número de episódios, que não negarei que tende a desanimar quem busca assistir o anime do 0. O anime atualmente já passou dos 1000 episódios e continua crescendo absurdamente ao redor do mundo. Porque então esse crescimento? Consigo explicar esse fato pelo maior diferencial de Eiichiro Oda, o desenvolvimento de personagens quase perfeito e a construção incrível de mundo do One Piece. Posso dizer, que dentre todas as obras que ja vi, nenhuma chega perto de One Piece nesse quesito, a vastidão desse mundo e as diferentes criaturas, nações, mares e famílias mostram o infinito mundo de possibilidades que podem ser criadas nessa obra. A única obra que eu vejo um mundo tão grande e cheio de possibilidades é Game of Thrones, porém a série não possui 10% do desenvolvimento desse mundo que Oda conseguiu fazer e continuará fazendo.
Logo no início somos apresentados ao personagem principal, Luffy. Totalmente carismático, o pirata anda sempre com um chapéu de palha na cabeça e é marcado por seu sorriso único, além disso ele se mostra muito determinado e engraçado. Conforme passa o anime entendemos o maior objetivo do personagem: se tornar o Rei dos Piratas, tal objetivo é quase impossível e só ocorreu uma vez na história pelo maior pirata do mundo, Gol D. Roger. Dessa forma, conseguimos entender porque o anime é tão longo, como o autor busca desenvolver o máximo de sua história, seu universo e os personagens, é totalmente justificável o tamanho da obra, pois um objetivo desse tamanho ser finalizado em poucos episódios seria o mesmo que um fracasso narrativamente, pois demonstra facilidade.
A CONSTRUÇÃO DE MUNDO DE ONE PIECE
Esse para mim é o maior diferencial dessa grande obra. O planeta de One Piece é composto por 4 grandes regiões e o maior e mais perigoso mar que habita a Terra. As regiões são East Blue, West Blue, North Blue e South Blue, enquanto o grande mar se chama Grand Line e é dividido por duas metades, sendo a segunda metade a mais perigosa de todas e comandada por 4 grandes imperadores dos mares. Eu sei que pode parecer confuso para você esse ínicio, mas garanto que durante o decorrer da obra você pegará tudo e vai querer mais informação sobre esse mundo totalmente complexo. O público conhecerá uma grande gama de piratas, marinheiros e até revolucionários, todos bem trabalhados e que farão aprte ativamente de uma parte da história.
PARTE SOCIAL EM ONE PIECE
O que para mim faz essa obra ter se tornado tão grande, é a grande quantidade de assuntos importantes e presentes no nosso dia a dia trabalhados na obra, o autor não fecha os olhos para esses problemas e busca mudar a cabeça de todos as pessoas que acompanham a história. Podemos usar de exemplo o passado do espadachim Zoro, que trabalha o fato de sua melhor amiga ser passada para trás e ser desmotivada por homens que teriam o argumento de que ela não poderia se tornar a maior espadachim do mundo por simplesmente ser mulher, mostrando que o machismo é um mal não só dessa sociedade, mas do mundo fantasioso também. A capacidade do autor de trabalhar temas polêmicos em um simples ''anime de pirata'' é sensacional, e enfatiza o motivo dele ser tão aclamado. Em outras sagas podemos perceber o trabalho e críticas de temas como o racismo e a homofobia e o quanto isso é prejudicial. O mais surpreedente é a forma criativa que o escritor trabalha esses temas e o quanto eles mechem com quem está assistindo ou lendo.
PERSONAGENS INCRÍVEIS
Outro diferencial do título é a grande quantidade de personagens diferentes e super interessantes. O autor soube trabalhar todos os personagens muito bem, e buscou mostrar isso em todos os arcos. A obra é composta por reflexões e revelçaões surpreendentes a cerca desses personagens e graças a isso é impossível parar de assistir, sempre querendo saber mais sobre todos os incriveis personagens. Todos possuem camadas, motivações e sonhos, gosto de citar o Sanji, o cozinheiro da tripulação que carrega consigo um passado triste e várias camadas de traumas antigos, esses fatos são trabalhados na obra e por isso ela é diferente de todas as outras.
POLÍTICA NO ANIME
Não poderia deixar de citar o ponto que mais me impressiona nesse grande trabalho que é One Piece, que é o modo com que eles trabalham e exploram a política em seu mundo. Por se tratar de um anime, poucas pessoas acham que pode haver um aprofundamento nesse tema, e sendo assim é uma surpresa quando percebem o quanto esse tema é trabalhado. A indignação da população, a tirania de líderes corruptos, um governo mundial que está envolvido em incontáveis atos ruins e até um movimento revolucionário que busca a extinsão do estado do mundo, tudo isso é trabalhado e bem desenvolvido em One Piece, e por isso é tão aclamado por pessoas mais velhas, do mesmo modo que interessa a pessoas com menos idade, é uma reunião sensacional de elementos distintos em apenas um anime de pirata.
Após todos esses elementos que mencionei, aposto que deve estar com uma ponta de curiosidade sobre o anime, que também apresenta milhares de instrumentos além desses que fazem o anime melhor ainda, e espero que dê uma chance para ele, como eu tive que dar e não me arrependo nada disso.
