My main reason to watch this anime is because of the male lead. The art style is very advanced like it attracts me a lot. This type of anime is my favourite which has this kind of graphics. I really love that it’s the one like “a silent voice”. Also their voice sounds really great together in the trailer. My heart flushed with emotions when I saw this anime. I could not resist myself but watch.
Summaries
Yuki is a deaf girl and one day she meets a handsome stranger who’s name is Itsuomi then he helps her out while travelling on the train. As Yuki meets Itsuomi daily then Yuki saw a new world in-front of her and starts to develope feelings for Itsuomi. After that their pure love story begins to grow and it is yet to see what kind of relationship will bloom between them.
Story
Yuki is seen to travel in the train alone and a foreigner shows up in-front of her. As he is speaking Yuki could not catch up with what he wanted. Actually the foreigner was asking for help and Yuki is deaf she can’t hear anything. She got very nervous as she could not help him out then she saw a guy coming towards her and he guided that guy and helped Yuki out of the situation. Then Yuki uses her sign language to say thanks but that guy could not understand her. Instead he was moving his lips slowly so that she can read his lips and she was blushing as he was standing very close to her face while talking later on he patted on her head and left for his stop.
Later on Yuki was in another world in her mind still thinking about that guy and she was sitting with her friend her name is Rin. Both of them are texting on their phone as Rin does not know how to use sign language. Both of them are good friends and Rin was sharing about her crush. Then Rin seemed to know the guy who had helped Yuki she tells her the name of that guy and his name is Itsuomi. Later on Rin tells that her crush Kyouya and Itsuomi works together. Yuki was surprised and seeing her reactions Rin says that if she has fallen for him or has a crush on him. Also explains that Itsuomi likes travelling to different countries and he likes their culture he is an explorer.
After that one night both of them went to the workplace where Itsuomi and Kyouya works. Rin got busy talking with her crush but Rin said she would help Yuki to get Itsuomi’s number and Yuki felt left out. But out of nowhere Itsuomi puts his hand on Yuki’s chin and was talking slowly with her about it she wanted a drink. Yuki again kept blushing and replied writing in papers. Itsuomi shares that he knows different languages and have traveled many countries. After a while few foreign friends of Itsuomi appeared and a girl was hugging and kissing his cheeks. Seeing this Yuki got upset but she could understand that they greet in this way it must be a normal thing for Itsuomi.
It was time for Yuki and Rin to leave but Yuki could not get Itsuomi’s number. Yuki was upset and then Rin asked Itsuomi to walk her home and it Yuki was flustered. While walking a car was coming from behind but Yuki can’t hear and Itsuomi pulled her over. Yuki before leaving got the courage to ask for Itsuomi’s number and he really gave her number. Yuki also asked why he liked travelling but he did not prefer to talk about it as they are not close yet. He also expresses the wish to know about the world of Yuki.
Yuki also has a guy friend from her childhood his name is Oshi Ashioki . He has been in love with Yuki for a long time. But he never let his feelings out to reach Yuki he always acts likes a rude person. Actually he learned sign language so that Yuki can never be in trouble so that he can be always there for her. But Yuki does not know about any of those things she thinks that it’s for his study purpose.
Yuki and Rin again went to the restaurant and then two new person arrived they are Itsuomi’s friend. One girl was very clingy with Itsuomi and her name is Emma, she is very beautiful and the other guy friend’s name is Shin who is a hairstylist. Both of them are Itsuomi’s friends from school life.
Yuki got confused by seeing Emma clinging to Itsuomi. She had a thought that she might be Itsuomi’s girlfriend. Actually Emma is in love with Itsuomi and later on that night she decides to drop by Itsuomi’s house and wanted to stay there with Itsuomi. But Itsuomi left his keys with her and went to a guy friends house. As he only thought Emma as a friend.
One day Yuki, Rin , Kyouya and Itsuomi went to to hang out. Rin and Kyouya confessed to each other. But Yuki still was not sure of her feelings. Then the other day Yuki visited Itsuomi at his house and Yuki was teaching Itsuomi hand sign language.
Day by day the bond of Yuki and Itsuomi grew. Later on Itsuomi took a step to confess to Yuki and they both started to date. Itsuomi decides to show his girlfriend to his friend Shin and he seemed happy for them and he was supposed to tell Emma about this.
Later on it is seen that Shin always have been in love with Emma even when he had a girlfriend he would spend his time with Emma. He always wanted to be with Emma but never could confess because she loved Itsuomi. But Emma whenever she gets upset she comes to Shin and they spend time together as she thinks of him as a friend only.
When Oshi Ashioki saw Yuki being around Itsuomi he used to ask her not be with him and trust anyone. Later on he found they were dating and he was very frustrated about it because he could not confess. But Itsuomi was smart he could see that he likes Yuki and that’s the reason Itsuomi tries to befriend him.
Shin also told the truth about Itsuomi dating someone else. Emma was upset and then Shin asked her to choose him. But Emma did not respond as everything was not going according to her willingness.
In the end it is seen Itsuomi and Yuki having a great time together she also started a job a so that she can travel with Itsuomi.
Then they decides to go on a date as travelling countries together is gonna take a longer time. Both of them are very happy as if they are made for each other. Itsuomi started to learn sign language and talk with Yuki instead of texting on phones he started to understand her more.
Review
I loved this anime very much I am hoping for a season 2. I don’t know if there is gonna be one and if there’s none I am still satisfied with this season 1. As everything gone according to what I wanted to happen. The male lead is a perfect boyfriend he knows how to keep other girls out of his way when he is in a relationship. No like other animes where male lead likes to be around pick me type girls.
Overall
I would say it is nothing like A silent voice but it has it’s own specialty and I think everyone should appreciate this kind of animes because there was no stretching also the story was very straight forward. I would rate it 10/10 because of the storyline and perfect graphics.
