4 Cut Hero Anime Review.

in #hive-15848915 days ago

Lately, I have found myself watching more Chinese anime, is it the fight, the language, or the story, I can't really tell but since I started watching it, I have come to love it. The anime I will be sharing with you all today is an anime Titled "4 Cut Hero"

"4-Cut Hero" is a quirky and entertaining anime that packs a punch with its unique blend of humor, action, and heart. The story follows the adventures of Jed. Jed is a young boy who is very strong and is a student of the ancient red dragon. Jed became a hero to save the land that the humans lived in from demons.

Now, you will think he did this out of the nobility of his heart, but the only reason Jed decided to become a hero was because he wanted riches and he wanted to marry the princess.

Unfortunately, one of the king's children was kidnapped with the information that it was the princess. Jed rushed to her rescue only for him to discover it was the princess he had been fighting for all this time. He was disappointed but he had successfully destroyed all the demons and their supporter but that only marked the beginning of the story.

The anime's strongest suit is its humor, with clever writing and comedic timing that will keep you laughing out loud. The characters are well-developed and relatable, with Jed's awkwardness and determination making him a lovable protagonist. Even the most vicious villain can look very funny at times. The comic part and face they make help bring the tension down to a minimum level.

Also, the most innocent one in the anime can make a face like this

The story's setting is centered around a time with modern technology yet ruins, kingdoms, sword fights, monarchy, and magic were still in use.

The action scenes are fast-paced and engaging, with creative uses of Jed's "4-Cut" abilities. The animation is vibrant and stylized, bringing the world of "4-Cut Hero" to life in a visually stunning way.

One thing that amazing about this anime is that the normal time duration for a normal anime series is around 24minutes or 25minutes but 4 Cut Hero is just 7min and even with that short amount of time, the anime is very interesting. The details were well explained that even in episode 4, you already know about the war that happened before, what's currently happening and you can't predict the future. All these are done in under 5 minutes, 2 minutes are for intro and credit scene.

Overall, "4-Cut Hero" is a hidden gem that will delight fans of action comedies and slice-of-life anime. With its offbeat humor, engaging characters, and heartfelt storytelling, it's a must-watch for anyone looking for a fresh and entertaining anime experience. It's not a popular anime but it has things that anime fans are searching for in anime.

I would recommend it to anyone. It's an anime with just 10 episodes, so it's something you can finish in a day, the anime definitely will have a second season but the season is worth watching. If I were to rate 4 Cup Hero over 10, I would give it an 8/10.

Thanks for reading.

Lover boy and anime lover

Better start watching anime

Lol

The only anime I watched with that length was a vampire anime that now I don't remember the name, but in 7 minutes they can make a good plot haha

I didn't know it, but it looks interesting and funny 👌

Yeah, this one too is interesting and funny
You should watch it.

Never seen this one. I've been watching some Donghua and the level of animation is on par with Anime. If not for the voice actors and language, I couldn't tell if it's set in the modern era. I think there are more gems that have yet gained a global release there because of how protective they are at copyrights.

Trivia: It's not "anime" but you can call it Donghua or Chinese Animation.

Chinese to Chinese: Donghua
Chinese to Non-Chinese: Chinese Animation.

@adamada! @fashtioluwa likes your content! so I just sent 1 BBH to your account on behalf of @fashtioluwa. (1/5)

@adamada thanks for educating us... I knew anime was a Japanese thing but I didn't know what the Chinese one was called or that it can't be referred to as anime.

I literally had to edit my comment when I read yours.

🏃🏾🏃🏾🏃🏾🤭🤭🤭

Thanks for sharing.

Whaoo
Can’t believe this is the first time I’m learning this that Chinese animation are not called anime. Thanks for this info

Also, while watching this Doughua, it felt strange at first because of the language.
There are some Japanese words I know already, so when the subtitles come as some familiar words, I hear something different.

But Chinese action animation kinda looks more interesting. In the scene that, the fighting scenes are more more detailed with the taijustu fight too.

Anime like “The outcast” also have good fight scene. !BBH

😂
Why do I relate to this so much, the language sounding different part though.

I remember starting a Doughua and I was like nope nope....

That was the last time I watched it

😂😂😂😂
But i am enjoying it

That's all that matters man!

You can just call it Chinese animation to play it safe. Some people online take it personally, the ones concerned about being right or being patriotic. Donghua refers to all forms of animated media so it's not limited to anime-like style common in Japan. So far, most of the Donghua titles I know have good animation but lack the meaningful plots anime tends to have but it's an evolving industry.

Weirdly... I don't know if I enjoy Chinese animation.

Maybe cos I am so used to how Japanese anime characters sound so menacing... I think it's a language thing.

Interestingly, I've seen a short clip of the anime on Tiktok a while back, now you've given me reason to watch.

Thanks for sharing this Boss Fash.
👏🏾👏🏾

Chinese animation is not called anime, its called Doughau.
Besides, I also saw a short clip of it on tiktok which is why I watched it.
I am sure you will like it

There I was thinking I had avoided calling it Anime

😂😂

I don't know what it is about Chinese anime that still doesn't convince me, I think it's the language that I can't get used to the way they speak. I tried to watch one about a banished God but it didn't catch me.

There is another one that looked pretty funny, it was about how one behaves at work or something like that, I don't know why I never looked it up to watch it but I had it pending, that one caught my attention because it made me laugh a lot with just one scene.

If this anime turns out as you say with that touch of comedy and also because each episode is so short, I'll definitely give it a chance. 💕

Well, I can understand you.
You should give this one a try. 10eps
Very short episode too
You would wish it was longer and I’m sure you will start to like it.
