Saludos a todos los amantes del anime, recientemente vi una publicación del administrador de esta comunidad en donde nos contaba acerca de los bajos niveles de participación de la comunidad, es algo que me pareció un poco triste, aunque no me considero la más grande conocedora de ánime o mangas, siento que en mi vida he tenido muchos agradables momentos gracias a algún anime, bien sea en mi niñez como en mi edad adulta, actualmente mi hijo de seis años ve Naruto conmigo y yo estoy feliz de poder tener ese pequeño espacio de complicidad entre mi hijo y yo, sin embargo, son pocas las ocasiones en que podría ver una anime solo por distraerme un rato, así que estoy muy complacida de que mi amiga @yetsimar me haya recomendado este anime llamado La novia del mago antiguo (Mahō Tsukai no Yome), ella conoce mis gustos y sabia que este tipo de historia podría gustarme, asi que comparto con ustedes mis impresiones acerca de este anime y las razones por la cual me gustó tanto.
Greetings to all anime lovers, recently I saw a post from the administrator of this community where he told us about the low levels of community participation, it is something that seemed a bit sad to me, although I do not consider myself the greatest connoisseur of anime or manga, I feel that in my life I have had many pleasant moments thanks to some anime, either in my childhood or in my adulthood, currently my six-year-old son watches Naruto with me and I am happy to be able to have that small space of complicity between my son and me, however, there are few occasions when I could watch an anime just to distract myself for a while, so I am very pleased that my friend @yetsimar recommended me this anime called The Ancient Magus Bride (Mahō Tsukai no Yome), she knows my tastes and knew that I might like this type of story, so I share with you my impressions about this anime and the reasons why I liked it so much.
La historia del anime gira en torno a una chica llamada Shise, ella tiene 15 años, es de Japón y nació con la capacidad de poder ver criaturas mágicas, estas criaturas pueden ser inofensivas y también hay algunas de las que debe cuidarse porque le pueden hacer daño, de todo modos tantos las buenas como las malas pueden acortar la vida de Shise por la exposición a la magia, su familia cuida de ella mientras es pequeña pero pronto sucederán cosas que afectarán su futuro, su padre la abandona y su madre se suicida, todo esta espiral de sucesos trágicos hacen que la pobre chica no encuentre su lugar en el mundo, se siente abandona y va creando en su mente un desapego por la vida, al punto de no querer seguir viviendo, pero acepta una propuesta de ser vendida en una subasta donde u hombre extraño con cara de cráneo animal la compra por una suma extraordinaria de dinero, este hombre de nombre Elias es un mago quien la compra para ser su aprendiz y esposa.

Hay muchas cosas destacables en este anime a mi parecer, por una lado tanto Shise como Elias tienen un buen desarrollo de personaje, ambos cambian o mejor dicho crecen conforme van sucediendo las cosas, al inicio Shise se muestra como una chica muy vulnerable que depende completamente de lo que su “dueño” le diga que haga y aprenda, con un deteriorado estado de salud no parece importarle mucho ponerse en riesgo cuando es necesario, pero al mismo tiempo va desarrollando independencia en sus decisiones, estando consciente de su decisión de dañar su cuerpo por el uso de la magia es algo que hace por los seres que aprecia, sin embargo tiene una lucha interna al mismo tiempo, pues lo que en un principio pareciera un sacrificio o una retribución hacia los demás que la han mantenido con vida, se va tornando como una decisión personal valiente.
There are many remarkable things in this anime in my opinion, on the one hand both Shise and Elias have a good character development, both change or rather grow as things happen, at the beginning Shise is shown as a very vulnerable girl who is completely dependent on of what his "owner" tells him to do and learn, with a deteriorated state of health he does not seem to care much about putting himself at risk when necessary, but at the same time he is developing independence in his decisions, being aware of his decision to damage his body for the use of magic is something she does for the beings she appreciates, however she has an internal struggle at the same time, because what at first seemed like a sacrifice or retribution towards the others who have kept her alive, It is becoming like a brave personal decision.
Por otro lado el personaje de Elias me parece encantador, en un principio se nuestra como una personaje de aspecto temible pero que trata de forma amable y paternal a Shise, pero poco a poco empieza a sentir más curiosidad por entender los sentimientos humanos, desarrolla en cierto punto una relación de codependencia emocional con Chise pero que debe ser superado, el también tiene una lucha interna contra sus propios impulsos, al ser una criatura que no es completa.
On the other hand, the character of Elias seems charming to me, at first he sees us as a fearsome-looking character but who treats Shise in a kind and paternal way, but little by little he begins to feel more curious about understanding human feelings, he develops in To some extent, a relationship of emotional codependency with Chise but that must be overcome, he also has an internal fight against his own impulses, being a creature that is not complete.
Me gusta mucho que el anime muestre diferentes escenarios, Shise es de Japón pero cuando Elias la compra la lleva a Inglaterra, desde allá pueden visitar el mundo de las hadas que es algo completamente distinto , también van a Islandia donde se encuentran la tierra de los dragones, me gusta mucho que en la historia de anime se utilicen elementos tradicionales de la mitología de nórdica, como los dragones, las hadas y también festividades como el Yule.
I really like that the anime shows different scenarios, Shise is from Japan but when Elias buys her he takes her to England, from there they can visit the world of fairies which is something completely different, they also go to Iceland where they find the land of the dragons, I really like that traditional elements of Norse mythology are used in the anime story, such as dragons, fairies and also festivities such as Yule.
Estéticamente hablando el dibujo de los personaje es muy hermoso, además el estudio de animación tengo entendido que es Wit Studio, del cual tengo referencias muy buenas, por ser el encargado de hacer las primeras temporadas de Ataque a los titanes y Raking os Kings. Espero que sí no han visto este anime, le den la oportunidad y verán que es muy interesante , lindo y bien animado.
