It's the first day of a new month and a Saturday. What other way for me to start the month than trying to restructure my life and lock in?
That was the intention, that's the intention and the fire I'm trying to keep alive. I was still plotting my ways around this month when this particular anime I saw sometime last year came into my head, Black Butler. I've always seen alot of edits on Instagram about it this anime and it's been so good, especially the ones with Sebastian in it. Oh my goodnes-. It's so good,he looks so dreamy.

When I started the anime,I wasn't hooked. It didn't grab me like I thought it would, sadly. So I had to keep it aside for a while and take it up again after a while (about 4 months later). I didn't regret it guys. Cause this time,it was hitting. It hit;)

Black Butler is also known as Kuroshitsuji. It is a Japanese manga series that's been adapted into several anime seasons, OVAs, and even a live-action film. The story takes place in Victorian-era London and follows the life of Ciel Phantomhive, a young boy who's the head of the Phantomhive household.

Ciel makes a deal with a demon named Sebastian Michaelis, who becomes his butler. The catch? Ciel's soul belongs to Sebastian once he's achieved his goal of avenging his parents' death. Sebastian is ridiculously skilled and intelligent, and he's super loyal to Ciel. As the series goes on, you realize that Sebastian's not just a simple demon - he's got his own motivations and backstory.

Throughout the series, Ciel and Sebastian navigate the complexities of high society in Victorian London. They get caught up in all sorts of mysteries and crimes, and they often work together to solve them. Along the way, they meet a bunch of other characters, including demons, reapers, and humans, each with their own agendas and motivations.

One of the main plot threads is Ciel's quest for revenge against the people who killed his parents. This takes him and Sebastian on a wild ride through the dark underbelly of London, from the streets to the aristocratic circles. They encounter all sorts of shady characters, from corrupt businessmen to supernatural entities, and they have to use all their skills and resources to stay one step ahead.

As the series goes on, Ciel's relationships with the people around him get more and more complicated. He's got friends and allies, like his fiancée Elizabeth and his friends Finny and Bardroy, but he's also struggling with his own morality and the consequences of his actions. He's walking a fine line between good and evil, and it's hard to predict what he'll do next.

Sebastian, on the other hand, is a total mystery. He's incredibly loyal to Ciel, but he's also got his own motivations and desires. As the series progresses, you start to see glimpses of Sebastian's past and his true nature, and it's fascinating. He's not just a one-dimensional demon - he's a complex, multifaceted character with his own strengths and weaknesses.

The creator, Yana Toboso, explores some pretty deep themes in Black Butler, like the nature of good and evil, the consequences of revenge, and the complexities of human relationships. The series has a great sense of humor, even though it's pretty dark at times. The characters are all well-developed and relatable, and the plot is really good and engaging. Let's not forget to add "intriguing" to the mix.

The series is set in Victorian-era London, and it's clear that Toboso did a lot of research on the time period. The attention to detail is impressive, from the costumes and settings to the historical events and figures that are referenced throughout the series.By the way,Black Butler has some hint of horror in it. It's really really good.
