It was actually good. I questioned the idea of this anime a lot, especially when people kept on saying it had almost the same concept with Toyko Revengers. I didn't like Toyko Revengers,it was weird to me and slow paced. I didn't like it at all, couldn't even finish it's first season. Now,this is a new anime. I had to let the hype and everything concerning it die down before I took it up. I don't know know why,I don't fancy watching something with the hype and everything. I love the peace of watching it with noone on the internet talking about what I was watching, atleast not everywhere,if you get what I mean.

Windbreaker is a manga that got its anime 2024. It aired its first episode around January and it's been on reels and TikTok edits and on twitter ever since, especially during the first half of the year. The anime revolves around Sakura, a high schooler with a unique appearance that tends to frighten those around him. Sakura moves to a town named Makochi and decides to join Bofurin,the gang in the town. Sakura is a very lonely kid who has been exposed to violence and lives with it. He aims to be the top at Bofurin. Bofurin is a gang found in the Furin High School in Makochi. Sakura is unaware of the true identity of Bofurin. A gang is usually violent, disobedient, delinquent and not helpful. To his utter shock,Bofurin is a good gang. They aspire to keep the town and its occupants safe and secure. And protect the town against anyone who'd want to tear away their peace. Sakura is bewildered...but that won't stop him from aiming to be the top.

Honestly,it was all a lie. Or not. Windbreaker is not like Toyko Revengers. The only sort of similarity they have is the gang stuff. They have entirely different story lines,the animation of windbreaker is far better,I prefer the characters in Windbreaker, loved the opening song too. It was really good. I'm not into gang anime and stuff but this was good,I won't lie. Although, I got bored at one point,slept off on an episode,left it for two days before continuing it again; it was amazing.
