I tried watching the first episode of this anime after downloading it just to check and see if I would like it. And to my surprise, I like it - no, scratch that - I LOVE IT! I don't even want to stop watching it. But I have to make a little pause for now because I also have to do something productive today \(^o^)/. See how disciplined I am when it comes to my time <( ̄︶ ̄)>, lol (≧▽≦).
So I still have a lot of internet data today, I have 50 GB, actually, but right now there's only 23.46 GB left. And I have to consume that before it expires. I only have 3 days to actually consume it all, but that's already plenty of time to download different animes or kdramas. And I happily did just that since Monday ┏(^0^)┛.
Here's all the anime I downloaded, and I'm going to talk about "A Condition Called Love". This is another anime that made me smile, make me feel cringe and jealous (≧▽≦). I love how wholesome it is, but there are times that I sense a strong tension between the two main characters. And I can't help sometimes but to think and push them through my head to kiss and fool around. Lol. It's really just me, I really love their chemistry, huhu.
So anyways, this anime is about the cheerful and lovely Hotaru Hinase. She's the kind that really doesn't think much about love as she doesn't get the concept of it - you know the romance stuff. She's already happy with just her beloved friends and family, and in her mind, falling in love is really not for her. But then she met Hananoi. She witnessed Hananoi and his girlfriend break up.
And then later on she saw him sitting outside while it's snowing, and she couldn't help but put an umbrella on him. And that's when everything started. The next day Hananoi confesses, but as expected, Hotaru rejects him. But that didn't stop Hananoi from pursuing her. As he said, he wants to give Hotaru the chance to get to know him, ackkk ( ꈍᴗꈍ). And that's the start of a lovely story between them. Wait, I can't say if it'll be a lovely one until the end. I'm still at episode 5 and haven't finished it yet. I just got excited sharing it because I think it is really an awesome romantic anime \(^o^)/.
Now let's talk about Hananoi first, he's like the obsessive type of character. I didn't find him creepy, though. He gave importance to "consent," always thinking about Hotaru before making a move. I love that about him. I hope it doesn't change. He is like those typical male characters with a cold personality in some manhwa and anime series and only sweet to the one they likes. I find that cute, but overly doing it is not that appealing. I hope he didn't end up that way. Although I love that type of character, I love it only in a fictional story and not in real life, especially in BL, eherm (≧▽≦).
And about Hotaru, she really doesn't know about the GF/BF thing. Especially what a couple usually does. She's always nonchalant about it. Maybe because she never experienced romance, well, she's still young. But girls her age, like her friends and even classmates, have an idea about love. She's the only one who doesn't get it yet. But seeing her character, she made me wonder if I ever knew love when I started to "landi." Lol. I didn't know about it back then, but maybe because of the romance books I read back then, they gave me ideas about it and that's why reading a romance story made me feel different emotions.
Still, I'm curious if there's any "Hotaru" out there who doesn't feel anything when they see a couple being lovely, dovey, lol. I never experience this because I skip it and just go directly to the finale - you know, getting a boyfriend for experiences, lol.
But anyway, going back to Hotaru, she's still in the process of knowing Hananoi, but I can already feel it. Her blushing, her constant thought about him, and how she wanted to make Hananoi smile. I think she's already on the way of learning about love. Their scenes together are just toe twirling, I'm having a seizure! Lolol. Seriously, it's sweet. I almost wish I had my own Hananoi. Someone who'll wait for me at my workplace outside. Meaning, I want to feel what Hotaru felt while Hananoi is making her experience a lot of emotions, but I'm just kidding, lol. Nah, nvm.
My high school days are a fake, why didn't I experience something like this during my time (。ŏ﹏ŏ), huhu. (≧▽≦)
And oh, let me also add this, in some episodes, they let me see how important "communication" is to avoid unnecessary drama and misunderstanding. This is always that one thing that is easy to remember, but some couples fail to see the importance of it. I hate it when this is not present in one romance anime or manhwa. It always brings angst and tears to me. But I always end up watching that kind of drama in the end because I love the pain it brings to me. Im a masochist, you see, lololol.
So anyway, for now I'll rate this romance anime a 9.2 out of 10. I love it. Have you already watch it? What's your thought about it? Is it to your liking or nah?
