Hello Everyone
It's been a long time since I wrote in The Anime Realm community for one reason or another; this time I finally have the opportunity to write a review of the anime I just finished watching. All the writing in this post is purely my personal opinion after watching several episodes, and it would be stupid if I didn't give an honest opinion about this Anime. The anime I am discussing this time is called"The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen: From Villainess to Saviour" or in Japan is "Higeki no Genkyou to Naru Saikyou Gedou Last Boss Joou wa Tami no Tame ni Tsukushimasu" officially broadcast on the Muse Indonesia Youtube channel.
The last few seasons of anime with an Isekai (cross-dimensional) theme are being broadcast a lot and some are famous because their stories are interesting but some are boring in terms of character development and plot. This made me not really like following Isekai genre anime after watching Sword Art Online and Mushoku Tensei; but last month, I was attracted to Isekai genre anime whose storyline was interesting for me and easy to watch at any time.
The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen: From Villainess to Savior tells the story of a girl who suddenly wakes up and feels strange about her surroundings. The girl woke up in a foreign world, but she felt like she knew that world, when she remembered everything, she realized she was in the same world as the game she had played before. This girl was reincarnated again by living in the same world as the previous game she had played, she became a character named Pride Royal Ivy, a cruel princess from the Otome game To a Beam of Light With You, this reincarnated girl felt so terrible when she realized that he becomes the antagonist of the game. That's where the interesting story of this anime begins, this is the first time I've watched an Isekai anime that from the start of the story has caught my attention.
As long as this girl was alive, she really hated the character Pride Royal Ivy because she was a villain who was pure evil, and she reincarnated as the character Pride, she wanted to change this evil character into a protagonist even though she had to go against the nature that had been assigned to the girl as "The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen". With the experience she has gained from the games she played before being reincarnated, Pride Royal Ivy slowly changes her fate and tries to become a kind-hearted leader.
I thought that Pride couldn't change his fate from being an antagonist to being a protagonist, but as the story goes she slowly begins to improve the evil nature of the character Pride Royal Ivy in the game to become a very kind protagonist. This anime has been my watch for the last few weeks because the story is not monotonous, and I don't think the depth of each character is too excessive like other Isekai anime.
The girl who was reincarnated as Pride Royal Ivy had received a "cheat" from the previous game which really helped to change this antagonist's character and make the kingdom and people she leads like every aspect of Pride because he is a good leader who cares for his people. My slight complaint about this anime is that the visuals don't suit my interests, maybe this is relative because I like the detailed visual design and clear use of character shapes.
In closing, I would like to say that I really recommend this anime for all of you to watch because the overall plot and story are slightly different from other Isekai anime. The character of Pride Royal Ivy with all her efforts to change the bad fate that has been set for her is an interesting thing to watch in each episode. Maybe some plots seem too straight, but in my opinion, they are not boring because there is a recreation of the feelings that we feel when the main character experiences trauma from the crimes she committed in the game.
