¡Muy buenas noches! Espero que se encuentren muy bien y tengan un lindo comienzo de semana. Hoy, por mi parte quiero compartir este dibujo que me ha gustado muchísimo, quería volver un poco a mis orígenes, retratos con un toque oscuro, ya que a pesar de ser una temática que me gusta mucho y me identifico mucho con ello, lo he dejado un poco, cuando aprendes cosas nuevas te gusta variar y probar de todo un poco, ha sido un proceso artístico bastante interesante el que he pasado y que seguiré pasando, ya que dentro de mí siento esa necesidad de aprender diferentes técnicas y estilos, sin embargo, siempre me va a gustar el tipo de arte con la que empecé y de vez en cuando es bueno volver allí, aunque actualmente ya no realizo retratos tan realistas como los que hacia antes, me gusta que aun mantengo un poco de realismo en algunos detalles como los ojos, en esta oportunidad mi musa fue el color rojo con algunos matices azules muy sutiles, un retrato con sangre que me costó muchísimo pintar, pues parece fácil pero no lo es, si no lo dibujas decentemente “bien” la sangre termina siendo líneas superpuestas que no se ven reales, no me quedo perfecto, pero me gusto mucho y aun asi estoy muy feliz con el resultado, espero que les guste.

Today, for my part I want to share this drawing that I really liked, I wanted to return a little to my origins, portraits with a dark touch, because despite being a theme that I really like and I identify myself with it, I have left it a little, when you learn new things you like to vary and try a little of everything, It has been a very interesting artistic process that I have gone through and that I will continue to go through, because inside me I feel the need to learn different techniques and styles, however, I will always like the type of art I started with and from time to time it is good to go back there, although nowadays I don't make portraits as realistic as the ones I did before, I like that I still keep a little bit of realism in some details like the eyes, this time my muse was the red color with some very subtle blue shades, a portrait with blood that I had a hard time painting, it seems easy but it is not, if you don't draw it decently “well” the blood ends up being superimposed lines that don't look real, it was not perfect, but I liked it a lot and even so I am very happy with the result, I hope you like it.

Proceso/Process

Realice el boceto de un rostro bastante cerca, quería resaltar muchísimo los ojos, intente hacerlos grandes pero a la vez proporcionados, no quise exagerar tanto en esta ocasión, elegí la paleta de colores para trabajar que en este caso serian tonos rojos, morados, marrones y sobre todo rosas, esta vez la tonalidad de la piel era rosa para que hiciera juego mas adelante con el fondo que quería colocar que en este caso seria un tono rojo, aplique los colores en todo el rostro dejando ver las luces y sombras y en una nueva capa añadí mas colores para terminar de formar todo el rostro, empecé a mezclar los colores con un pincel difuso para dejar una textura suave, esta vez los labios fueron bastante difíciles de pintar para mí, no sé por qué pero se me complico bastante este tema, empecé a añadir color al cabello en este caso un tono azul muy oscuro y desaturado, casi llegando a un gris.

I made the sketch of a face quite close, I wanted to highlight a lot the eyes, I tried to make them big but at the same time proportionate, I did not want to exaggerate so much this time, I chose the color palette to work with that in this case would be red, purple, brown and especially pink, this time the skin tone was pink to match later with the background that I wanted to place that in this case would be a red tone, I applied the colors all over the face letting see the lights and shadows and in a new layer I added more colors to finish forming the whole face, I started to mix the colors with a diffuse brush to leave a soft texture, this time the lips were quite difficult to paint for me, I don't know why but I was quite complicated this issue, I started to add color to the hair in this case a very dark blue tone and desaturated, almost reaching a gray.

No estaba segura si pintar la sangre o no, sentía que quizás no quedaría bien, pero hice la prueba en una nueva capa y después de darle forma por un rato me gusto y preferí dejarla, empecé a darle forma al cabello con luces y sombras, añadí diferentes tonos, para las luces azules claros y uno casi blanco y para las sombras negro y en las esquinas rojo oscuro. Pinte el fondo de un rojo fuerte y luego agregue un rojo mas oscuro en la parte superior, se me ocurrió añadir unos piercings solo porque me gusta mucho y siento que le daba más estética a mi dibujo, luego añadí una capa de luces donde empecé a iluminar los ojos, nariz y boca, también añadiendo algunos puntos de luz pequeños en la sangre para hacerla ver mas jugosa, finalice mi trabajo editando la imagen aumentando un poco la intensidad de los colores y bajando la exposición un 10%

I wasn't sure if I should paint the blood or not, I felt that maybe it wouldn't look good, but I did the test on a new layer and after shaping it for a while I liked it and I preferred to leave it, I started to shape the hair with lights and shadows, I added different tones, for the lights light blue and one almost white and for the shadows black and in the corners dark red.
I painted the background a strong red and then I added a darker red on the top, I thought of adding some piercings just because I like it a lot and I feel it gave more aesthetics to my drawing, then I added a layer of lights where I started to illuminate the eyes, nose and mouth, also adding some small points of light in the blood to make it look more juicy, I finished my work editing the image increasing a little the intensity of the colors and lowering the exposure a 10%
