Buenas noches amigos. Estaba hoy con humor de algo que luciese mágico, fantasioso, pensé en muchos colores fríos que son mis favoritos y en galaxia, aquí el resultado de este conjunto de ideas, donde como siempre realice un retrato pero esta vez usando muchos colores fríos, no quise realizar tantos detalles ya que quería algo sencillo pero colorido, por eso también quise resaltar los ojos con un azul claro muy potente, algo a lo que no estoy aun acostumbrada después de tanto tiempo dibujando, es a pintar cabellos con tonos fantasía, aunque muchas veces lo aplico, se me hace realmente difícil trabajarlos, para mí el color más fácil de trabajar es el marrón en cuanto tema del cabello, pero obviamente un marrón no quedaría bien aquí, aunque el resultado no es el mejor, me gusto mucho por toda esta gama de morados y azules que puedo ver, espero que les guste.

I was today in the mood for something that would look magical, fantasy, I thought of many cold colors that are my favorite and galaxy, here is the result of this set of ideas, where as always I made a portrait but this time using many cold colors, I did not want to do so many details because I wanted something simple but colorful, so I also wanted to highlight the eyes with a very powerful light blue, something that I am not used to after so much time drawing, is to paint hair with fantasy tones, although many times I apply it, I find it really difficult to work them, for me the easiest color to work with is brown in terms of hair, but obviously a brown would not look good here, although the result is not the best, I liked it a lot for all this range of purples and blues that I can see, I hope you like it.

Proceso/Process

Realice el boceto de un retrato sencillo, elegí los colores que para esta ocasión era mayormente morados claros y oscuros, aunque también añadí un poco de azul y rosa en ciertas zonas, aplique todos los colores dejando en claro las luces y sombras y luego añadí otra capa donde agregue mas colores para terminar de formar todo el rostro, empecé a mezclarlos en otra capa nueva y ahí a darle la textura que quería, como lo estoy haciendo normalmente deje algo de textura en la piel sin dejarla completamente lisa.

I made the sketch of a simple portrait, I chose the colors that for this occasion was mostly light and dark purple, although I also added a little blue and pink in certain areas, I applied all the colors leaving clear the lights and shadows and then I added another layer where I added more colors to finish forming the whole face, I started to mix them in another new layer and there to give the texture I wanted, as I am doing normally I left some texture on the skin without leaving it completely smooth.

Luego pinte el cabello con un color lila, me perturbaba mucho que este lila se confundiera con la capa de fondo gris que estaba usando, asi que decidí pintar el fondo de una vez, primero colocando un azul oscuro como base luego un azul claro en el centro, dibuje varias estrellas y también un aro de luz azul claro, continue con el cabello, ahora si agregándole luces y sombras para darle forma, después agregue las luces, como siempre me gusta darle mas vida a mis dibujos haciendo pequeños detalles de luces en el rostro y cabello, finalice editando la imagen ajustando un poco los tonos para darle un acabado mas frio.

Then I painted the hair with a lilac color, I was very disturbed that this lilac was confused with the gray background layer I was using, so I decided to paint the background at once, first placing a dark blue as a base then a light blue in the center, I drew several stars and also a ring of light blue light, I continued with the hair, now adding lights and shadows to give it shape, then I added the lights, as I always like to give more life to my drawings making small details of lights in the face and hair, I finished editing the image adjusting a little the tones to give it a cooler finish.

this tablet 25x15 cm let's say it is a medium size, I don't know how much it costs now but when I bought it it only cost $50
I also have a Huion h610 pro v2 tablet, same size, also very good but I lost the usb cable 😅

Which tablet did you like better? Thanks for the answer too! I have been thinking about doing it for so long. I have been asking a few artists here so i can learn from the pros who know! hahaha

Well, I like the XP-Pen much more in terms of handling, I feel it is a little more practical than the HUION, however, the pen of the XP-Pen after a while started to fail, I do not know if maybe I was too rough with the handling of the pen, but practically the shortcut buttons that it has now do not work 100% the Huion is also very good but I feel that the xp-pen is handled more smoothly, despite my bad experience with the pen I would choose again XP-PEN
